Exactly What I Wanted Buying a car is a stressful process. Not sure why most deadlerships put their customers through such torture. That being said working with my salesman Buying a car is a stressful process. Not sure why most deadlerships put their customers through such torture. That being said working with my salesman (Elison Jeanlouis at Arrigo Sawgrass) was the least painful car buying experience I have ever had. I looked on line for the make and model that I wanted. I found what I wanted and used the 'chat line" service to ask a few questions. The representatives on the chat line were not very helpful even after I called one of them. So I called the dealership directly. I asked my question and received the answer. I thanked the sales person for the quick response and ended the call. A few minutes later Elison called me back. He asked if he could help me further. I explained what I wanted and how I expected to be treated along with a requirement not to be held hostage in a freezing little room while the sales people spoke with management to try to wangle a deal. I wanted to be in and out in an hour. Put it this way....I was very direct and I must say not very nice. Elison said he would get me what I wanted. We made an appointment for the next day. When I arrived he had a few choices of the make and model I wanted. I decided on one. Elison and I negotiated for a few moments. We agreed on a price. He wrote up the deal very quickly I must say. The finance guy was timely as well. I paid cash so it made things a bit easier. By the time I signed the paperwork and paid...my new car was waiting out front all washed with a full tank of gas. Elison listened to what I wanted and how I wanted to be treated and he delivered! He didn't waste my time and I didn't waste his. This is how business should always be conducted. I drove my old car for 11 years and was dreading the day I had to step foot on a car dealership lot. Elison changed the way I feel about car salesmen. We even took a selfie together to remember the experience. More
