My husband and I visited Armory looking for a used vehicle. Our experience did not start off great but thanks to Kyle and all his help it ended very well with us driving away in a brand new Jeep Compa vehicle. Very knowledgeable and honest. John Carroll from finance was very helpfull as well. Happy with my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. Left the lot with a full tank of gas as promised also. My husbabnd and I stopped by Armory Garage to look at the Dodge Chargers, and to get trade-in prices on two of our vehicles. We were amazed at the expertise, timliness and overall great assistance we receiv Dodge Chargers, and to get trade-in prices on two of our vehicles. We were amazed at the expertise, timliness and overall great assistance we received from the above forementioned gentlemen. We are completely happy with the purchase of our new vehicle, and for the whole process of trading vehicles, the timliness of doing the paperwork and overall great salesmanship. We will not hesitate to recommend Armory Garage to our family and friends. Thank you again for a wonderful buying experience. Sincerely, Doris and Gary Beardsley More
From the moment I met Bob he was very warm and friendly. Bob spoke to me waith knowledge about the car and what his dealership could do for me. I did not feel exploited but felt I could trust him immediate Bob spoke to me waith knowledge about the car and what his dealership could do for me. I did not feel exploited but felt I could trust him immediately. he had a very disarming smile and we chatted as is we knew each other. Bob did not hesitate in understanding my plight of not having a way to get home. I feel that Armory is the best kept secret in Albany and would refer anyone to this dealership and especially to Bob. I felt that I was in good hands with Bob. Within 2 days, I drove out with my brand new Chrysler. I am very happy. Thanks Bob More
First experience buying directly from a dealer, and after hearing horror stories from people having miserable experiences I was relieved to have had a pleasant experience at Armory Fiat. I was not pressured hearing horror stories from people having miserable experiences I was relieved to have had a pleasant experience at Armory Fiat. I was not pressured into upgrading to a flashier/more expensive model (something that had happened at other dealers I'd visited) nor did I ever have the feeling I was being manipulated into getting something I didn't need. Rather, Joseph very patiently and knowledgeably answered my questions, was frank and honest about the car, and seemed to legitimately listen to what I was looking to get out of a car and find a model that suited my needs, not the needs of whatever the dealer was trying to sell. The price was fantastic too; a pre-owned 2012 Fiat (with only 10,000 miles on it) that I was able to get for well below the KBB value. I've had the car for all of a day (love it so far though) so it remains to be seen how it holds up in the long run, but in regards to the buying experience I really can't fault Armory Fiat at all; they were efficient, friendly, and made me feel valued as a customer, and I would definitely recommend anyone interested in a Fiat (or Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge for that matter) to check them out. I contacted the salesman via Internet and found him to be generally polite and responsive until the very end. My main complaint is that I accepted a counter offer that the salesman made. I was in the proce generally polite and responsive until the very end. My main complaint is that I accepted a counter offer that the salesman made. I was in the process of getting together everything need including money before traveling to the dealership to complete the purchase. Time was a bit short. At that point, the salesman became harder to contact. At the very end, he advised me that his GM did not accept his price and wanted to back up to a higher number. Under all of the circumstances, I though this was good old fashioned car salesman gamesmanship so I told them to keep their Jeep and that same afternoon, I bought and drove home a Jeep from another agency at a better price. I believe that new auto dealers should be free to price their products as they deem advisable under the business plans they follow so not accepting my offer is not and should never be a problem. I object to the gamesmanship. In C-21 with Internet access, this should not happen and those who try to hang on to the deceptive old ways should be punished in the marketplace. At least that is my opinion and it is my reason for recommending against this dealership. More
Overall, not a good experience. I first went there to speak with someone on an order and they told me to sit with some kid...I think his name was Anthony. He was so new he had handwritten unprofessional speak with someone on an order and they told me to sit with some kid...I think his name was Anthony. He was so new he had handwritten unprofessional business cards. The kid had no clue what he was talking about and probably couldn't spell out Jeep. Spent over an hour sitting there waiting for them to figure out how to use a computer. Once they got my paperwork done he couldn't print it. He then said he couldn't give me a copy because his computers a 'POS'. I was so aggravated I walked out. Gave them another shot. Went back and spoke with Dave. Thought everything was good until they low balled a trade because of affiliate pricing. WARNING TO ALL PEOPLE TRADING IN CARS...Don't trade in at Armory, you WILL GET LOW BALLED and they even admit they are low balling you. I don't recommend them and highly recommend Langan Jeep up the road. Better staff, smaller and better communication. Armory was once great, but they've grown too big along with their heads and hire sellers who could care less. Pretty sad when the customer knows more about the vehicle than the seller. More
I made an appt. to test drive a used vehicle and it had not even been pulled up to the front of the bldg. or prepped in any way. This was supposedly a CERTIFIED vehicle, too. After waiting too long for t not even been pulled up to the front of the bldg. or prepped in any way. This was supposedly a CERTIFIED vehicle, too. After waiting too long for the salesperson, we began our testdrive. After exiting the lot and making two turns we were on a highway onramp when the rear wheel and hub assembly dropped from the axle onto the inside of the aluminum rim..grinding us to a halt. Good thing the salesman was with us as I had left my cellphone in my car. They were apologetic (really)? and nice and we left for another dealership where I drove the new vehicle of my choice home THAT day..GO to Lia Nissan first, you guys!! Armory evidently does not go over their vehicles (125 pt. inspection?)the way they are supposed to...do not trust them. More
