Alex Dubinsky is mostly concerned with cheating on his customers. He gives you one price and when you make downpayment for your car he will suddenly call you and surprise with a new sales conditions. When customers. He gives you one price and when you make downpayment for your car he will suddenly call you and surprise with a new sales conditions. When I refused to by a car and requested my downpayment back, Alex refused to do that and threaten me that he will ruin my credit history. More
I was a long time customer with this dealer and ordered a 2011 Venza on Oct 31, 2010, Salesman Scott Sanders said no car fitting my description existed at the time of the order. I gave a deposit and was to 2011 Venza on Oct 31, 2010, Salesman Scott Sanders said no car fitting my description existed at the time of the order. I gave a deposit and was told the car would be there by Nov 30, 2010. A few days later, I recieved a call from Scott saying the unusual configuration (no sun roof) had been ordered. Two weeks later, I drop by the dealer to get a status. Scott tells me he meant to call me. He has been unable to find my configuration and will now need to order the car. Also, the car won't be delieverd till next year at best. Why did he waste time tryig to find my car when he knew the day of the sale none existed. I escalated to Toyota corp who assigned me a contact for that dealership. This contact sits at the dealership. No conflict of interest there. Toyota contact says the car was ordered and and Toyota accepted my unusual configuration (no sunroof) the week after I ordered it. Apparenetly Scott did not know what was going on and was just talking off the top of his head when I last came in. Toyota contact said the car should be available around 12/17. He would call me once the VIN number was assigned. On 12/14, I had not heard from anyone. I called the Toyota rep and asked if the VIN number was assigned. I was told, no and that I would be called. December passes, no call. In the middle of January, I call the Toyota contact and he has NO IDEA of what is going on. He can't get any information from anyone. It must be due to the strange configuration of my order (no sunroof). I tell the contact that I need to escalate to his boss. He tells me to call the 1-800 Toyota corporate number. That number is just a help desk with canned responses. I call and am told there is no one higher to escalate to. Toyota corporate does not involve themselves in dealership issues. I am to go back to the know-nothings at Arlington Toyota. I wait a full 90 days with no word from anyone. I contact my charge card company and tell them to put my deposit in dispute. And to my amazement, the next day my salesman Scott calls me. I return the call and this is what I heard " Oh, I just ordered, I mean found out your car will be available at the end of February. It won't be at the dealer, but it should be made at the time." At this point, I was done. I told Scott I didn't want the car any longer. My new AWD was suppose to get me thru this harsh winter, not arrive with Spring. I had been waiting over 90 days and no longer wanted anything to do with this dealership. Scott protested that he had ordered this special configuration (no sunroof) and now he would be stuck with it. I was sent to the General Manager. My discussion went like this...shock, intimidatin (you may not get your full refund back), poor Toyota stuck with such a crazy configuration (no sunroof). I did get my full refund back, but only after several more calls. More
Went to get an oil change with my dad and to have a cable (holds spare tire under the car) checked due to a recall on his 99 sienna. They took over an hour and did a full car inspection for some reason. To (holds spare tire under the car) checked due to a recall on his 99 sienna. They took over an hour and did a full car inspection for some reason. Told us that the sienna had multiple issues with the braking system such as calipers and gave me repair quotes. My dad kindly said that we'd look into it another time since the car is over 11 years old now. They gave us the car and after 2 days there was a rhythmic banging coming from the front driver side wheel. A quick internet search said of possibly being the brake system like calipers being stuck. My dad was already thinking of taking the car to get it repaired but I instead was curious and wanted to see if anything could be fixed without a visit. I popped the cover that hide the bolts off and was shocked to find 3 of 5 bolts being loose (all 3 were about 1/2 inches away from being tight while the remained 2 were slightly loose) I don't know if it was on purpose or if some guy picked up a phone call while he was working and forgot about this. Either way it is not acceptable and I will discourage people from going there. More
We had a terrible experience buying a new vehicle at Arlington Toyota Scion. All they did was try to confuse and play games with us concerning the price. The way the salesman and general manager treated Arlington Toyota Scion. All they did was try to confuse and play games with us concerning the price. The way the salesman and general manager treated us was dreadful. They are dishonest and without honor. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone!! After much discussion we had agreed on a price for a 2011 Sienna LE. We decided to wait a day or two until we were sure this was what we wanted. When we determined that we were going to purchase the vehicle, we called and talked to the salesman to be sure he would still honor the price. He said he would. We showed upped 15 minutes later with our down payment in hand and ready to finalize the deal. They present us with the paperwork and the price was much higher. They said this was the price we remember. What a joke! My husband took a half day off from work for nothing. Very upset and disappointed to this dealership!! More
I was regulary taking my 2 Toyota vehicles to this dealership every 5,000 miles since 2008. During my last service visit for my 2004 4Runner, it was a saturday, I was told that regular maintanence wil dealership every 5,000 miles since 2008. During my last service visit for my 2004 4Runner, it was a saturday, I was told that regular maintanence will take about 1-2 hrs and can wait in lobby if I'd like. after 2 hrs. since I did not hear back from my service agent, I walked up to his desk and asked whether my vehicle was ready or not. Surprisingly the guy told me that my vehicle is not touched yet as they were seeking for my approval regarding couple of issues they discovered during the vehicle inspection. He told me that they announced my name and even came into the lobby to look for me but since they could not find me didn't do anything.... It was a big lie..!! I was sitting in the lobby during this 2 hr period and even did not receive any phone calls.. When I told those to the guy, he even did not say any word, such as apologies or what so ever. When I told him that I lost over 2 hrs of my weekend time and even my vehicle is not touched at all.. He said, "sir let's move on" without showing any sign of regret. I got so frustrated and went straight to his manager to explain the issue. manager extended me a cold apology and offered a 10% discount.. Anyway after 30 mins. the big agent came by and told me that my vehicle is ready with a fake smile in his face. After I left the dealership, I noticed low tire pressure signal turned on but did not give too much attention that day. When I woke up next morning, guess what I saw. My 2 tires on the right side(front and rear) were flat!!!!.... I immediately took my vehicle to NTB, where they told me that this seems to be intentional cause there was no evidence of puncture or damage on both tires. Someone might have loosened the valves on both tires to deflate both tires. That was their thank you to me for my excellent service experience. Keep away from this place More
Got internet price for an Avalon and got a call from the internet manager asking me to come in because they were doing "amazing deals" since it was the end of the month, was told they would definitely beat internet manager asking me to come in because they were doing "amazing deals" since it was the end of the month, was told they would definitely beat their internet price once I came in. When I came, internet salesperson was replaced by snooty guy from Peru who hardly spoke any English and apparently had a major problem that I was female (kept trying to sell the car to my teenage son instead of me). He could not answer any questions about the car and kept saying he had to "refer to the manual", then apparently never followed up. I had to sit there and search the brochure to determine which features were optional on the car. I knew more about the car doing research on the internet than he did! When we sat down to talk about price, told me the internet person had "made a mistake" and quoted me way too low..."a price [he had] never seen for this car"....then refused to negotiate, basically agreeing only to "come down" less than a hundred bucks on a $34K car! Ridiculous. They are a bunch of crooks, if you ask me. Very unprofessional. Obviously their goal was to get me interested with the low price they quoted, and then to try to get me to buy the car for way more! More
This dealership is full of buffoons that are impossible to deal with. I have purchased 07 Lexus from them and oh boy am I sorry! It all started with the inflated first offer $25K+, after I have purchased to deal with. I have purchased 07 Lexus from them and oh boy am I sorry! It all started with the inflated first offer $25K+, after I have purchased it I have discovered that it was advertised for $22.9K During the purchase nothing was said that the car comes without the manual, but promised that the manual will available in 7 days – 21 days have passed and no manual. There is a small chip on the windshield that I did not see during the delivery, the following day when I asked to repair Jon Kommel said that they will not. I have purchased rust proof and during the application they scratched all rims, I didnt even tell them about it, don't want one more battale. I have a lot of friends that live in the neighborhood, I will make sure to let everyone know that this is not the place to go for your car needs. More
I had been having a hard time deciding which car - wanted, and all the people in the internet department were extremely patient with me. They had sent me over several quotes no questions asked, and we wanted, and all the people in the internet department were extremely patient with me. They had sent me over several quotes no questions asked, and were the first dealer to get me an actual price through the internet. They were patient and gave me a pricing over the phone and had also emailed it to me so that I could bring it in. I had stopped by several other dealers like schaumburg and grossinger only to be given the run around by all the sales people who were not helpful at all. Once I actually got to arlington the salesman alex dubinsky was helpful and very nice. He took the time to walk through all the options with me. I would recommend this dealer to anyone if you are looking for great customer service and the shortest amount of time spent in a dealership. More
By far this has been the worst customer experience of my life. I saw a Sienna XLE at showroom and also got my old Sienna appraised, salesman Ziad and me agreed to work around the price of around $28,000 life. I saw a Sienna XLE at showroom and also got my old Sienna appraised, salesman Ziad and me agreed to work around the price of around $28,000 and I told him that I will come again tomorrow to collect the car along with my family. Next day I called Ziad and he informed me that they can offer around 31,00-32,000 and the APR will be around 5% (initially I was told 1.9%) In the mean while Justin and Allison from their Internet sales dept emailed me and we agreed a rate of $ 28,500 for the car I confirmed the deal and the rate with both of them over the phone and they told me to get the 0% APR adv from the rival dealer and they will match it. I went to the showroom along with my family, one sales man Ali informs me the loopholes of the 0APR adv and informs me that this is done to attract customers. the sales manager IGOR MATT informed me that he cannot honor the price. I told him that he should talk to Justin who is present in the showroom , he told me in no mean terms that he decides the price and no one else and no car can leave the show room without his approval. The sales staff in the showroom were seeing all this helplessly. I told him that you are telling me this at the last moment when I have come to get the car, he told me that I am coming back to his showroom because he has the best price (this SOB does not know that other Toyota dealers also exists) if I want the car I can take of else its fine. I just felt very insulted and humiliated by this attitude at first I agreed to the price but then i thought enough is enough, just lost my cool and left the showroom. Please avoid this dealer ship, they just try to con you to a deal, they have no respect for the customers. I read on the Internet reviews from other its no point complaining to the owners either.
