More than three decades ago, Mr. Eyrie Brooks opened the doors of Arlington Toyota in Jacksonville, Florida at a time when a gallon of gas cost just .63 cents and Jimmy Carter was president. We took our 2020 Toyota Corolla to get fixed on September 2023. After they fixed (it was $2300.00)we got our car back. Drove home and it started having a sound that was not there before. We took the car back 2023. After they fixed (it was $2300.00)we got our car back. Drove home and it started having a sound that was not there before. We took the car back and they let us know that it was the transmission and it will cost us $8000.00. I spoke with the representative that was attending me and let him know it was odd that we took the car the first time and after two weeks it had a sound and it was the transmission with $8000.00 charge. After a couple of months I took the car to a different dealership and they took the time to check what really was the problem and resolved it for less ($2800.00) than the $8000.00 this dealership quoted. Conclusion, get a second opinion! Follow your gut and your intuition when it tells you that someone is not being honest. More
