First I only ever visited this place again trying to save a couple bucks on tires as they had a pretty good deal going. Of course I place my order and set appointment time a week in advance to ensure tires a couple bucks on tires as they had a pretty good deal going. Of course I place my order and set appointment time a week in advance to ensure tires will be there and everything goes quickly. And of course I pull in and they look at me like I have three eyes and say there is no appointment for me. I show my email receipt and they then say okay no problem we will get you right in. The service advisor asks if I’ll be waiting or picking up later, I said waiting he said well it will probably be about 4 hours. I said to replace 4 tires?!? He said well yea I like to give a buffer in case there is a problem. Knowing xxxx well they were not getting me in anywhere near my appointment time. Fast forward 1:15, one hour after my appointment time, and I ask the advisor if he knows how long until they get my car into the shop. He says oh it’s in the shop the technician just hasn’t selected it yet in their system so it still shows as not being touched. Whatever man. Same song and dance every time at this place. Eventually within another hour or so my car was listed as being inspected. Upon inspection it was found I had a faulty sensor and that’s a few hundred bucks. Funny that in a previous visit I had asked them to look at it and they said that it would be 6+ hours just to check a sensor, presumably because it was still under warranty at that point or their schedule is just so jacked up each day I’m not sure which. But something they could have looked at and fixed for me under warranty is now on my dime. Other than an obnoxious 4+ hour wait, the fact that they were just timing me out for a warranty fix, and the lack of communication between their online service store and apparently whatever else they use the tires are good tires and were a good price. Knowing what I do now about the visit I would have paid the extra $200 or so at another tire shop and avoided this place all together. The service times are so bad, appointments irrelevant on this and other occasions, that I elected to just buy my own oil and filter in the parts shop and change it myself rather than go there for the free Toyota care service. If you are really stretching a budget in your brand new car and electing for the Toyota care service be prepared to spend many hours of your life you will never get back in their nicely appointed waiting area. If you expect to have any work done on your vehicle period it’s probably wise to find another dealership or less of a cattle ranch type shop. The Toyota care is a scam and avoid it if you can because you are paying way more for something than what it’s worth. At this place you are losing valuable life while waiting in addition to that. I have bought a couple vehicles here and rarely use them for service but each time it’s the same. Terrible. Unfortunately they are what is close by so sometimes I have to just suck that egg. More
I called Arlington Toyota six times to set up a loaner car or rent a car was hung up on five times. While I was in the tow truck from roadside assistance I called Arlington Toyota again. I got through fin car or rent a car was hung up on five times. While I was in the tow truck from roadside assistance I called Arlington Toyota again. I got through finally to Dillan and told hin I was on my way in a tow truck and would need a battery for my new car that was purchased less than a month ago. I also asked him if the service department would be open and I would be arriving at 4pm. I was handed off to another service rep. I had asked several times how long it would be before a battery was replaced. I was told, haven't heard anything yet. The next time I asked the rep stated they are putting the battery in as we speak. I was there well after 5:30 pm. for a battery. After I was told my car was done I noticed two scratches on my car. I pointed them out to Randy the service rep. He came out with a wipe to try a remove the scratch on my steering wheel. When I pointed out the second scratch to Randy and he stated, I do not have time for this! and walked away. Called the service manager twice the next day and left two messages for him to please call me about my experience at Arlington Toyota dealership. Still have not heard a word from anyone at you dealership three days later. More
Sales manager Rodger Page was another level of unprofessional. why is it impossible for Arlington Toyota to give you the price of a car? I guess the old saying "figures lie and liars figure" holds unprofessional. why is it impossible for Arlington Toyota to give you the price of a car? I bought a brand new 2023 Highlander with life time warranty on engine and transmission, now when I bring my car to be fixed they are saying that I did not rotated my tires every 5000 miles so you are warranty on engine and transmission, now when I bring my car to be fixed they are saying that I did not rotated my tires every 5000 miles so you are not covered. How tire rotation is related to transmission. Please be careful when buying cars from Arlington Toyota. I talked to their GM in this regards he was very unprofessional and very rude behavior. Instead helping me he was acting like he doing a favor talking to me. More
Chris did a great job of letting me know what work needed to be done on my car and kept me updated on the progress. I had a small list of items that needed fixing and everything was done to my satisfaction. to be done on my car and kept me updated on the progress.
