Mike Fields was incredibly efficient and had the car pulled up by the time we arrived. I clearly explained that I did not want to buy a car that day, with the year and the mileage on the 2015 Nissan Murano SL I just wanted to be reassured there was no dead body found in the car. All joking aside, as much as I wanted to buy that sweet ride that day, and as much as Mike and his manager wanted to seal the deal, I needed to check out other dealers affiliated with the Costco Auto Program since they recently started selling used vehicles, as opposed to them just selling the new models. Regardless of the Arlington nissan not being with that Costco program, they had the car I wanted. There was no way in heck I was going to drive out to the St. Charles Nissan to go through the auto program. Every other brand was pale in comparison. And, they practically held a gun to my head to purchase that day regardless of how many times I said that I didn't plan to buy it on the day of the test drive. I've always been partial to Nissan's because of the safety features of my Frontier Crew Cab 10 years ago saved my life. The day of the sale and forgive me if I got your name wrong, Tina a fellow sales woman/trainer/team leader of the sales team, assisted Mike showing him a more effective way of working with whatever program is used to fill in all the details. I am really sorry lady who helped that I can't remember if I'm right, because the lady that answers the telephone is very pleasant as well...whomever, you sit in front of Mike, it's been a week of driving in happiness. Thanks for your help! I'm glad to be part of the training experience. Now, with as much as a struggle people go through with the dragged out process of financing, RJ made it seemingly painless. He clearly explained the difference between the warranties offered and calculated the best amount to put down to get a reasonable monthly payment for the next 6 years of my life. Matt in the service department is officially my go to guy for any problems from here on out. He programmed my navigation system and sadly it did die, everyone is dumbfounded by this, but he ordered a brand new one and said he's going to let me know when it comes in so i can use their courtesy car offered for as long as the repair will take. Take as long as you need to because I want it done right and I have all the faith in the world that Matt will follow through with that request. Thank you Bob Rohrman's Nissan of Arlington Heights for being just around the corner, with the best options and staff that works together for the best service around. I wouldn't have been so exhausted from car shopping if I just went with my gut and bought it the first day. It was hard to walk away, but felt if it was still there 4 days later, it was meant to be. -Maureen F. More
The Worst Dealership Ever Please DO NOT EVER GO TO ARLINGTON NISSAN and show them that they can not treat customers like dirt. The worst Customer Service. They are crooks. I called to see if I could get in for a simple oil change over my lunch break and was told they'd have me out in less than an hour. Once I arrived I was told it would be an hour and a half because they had a rush right before me. I called maybe fifteen minutes before showing up. Well I was already there so I waited and over an hour later was informed my vehicle needed an expensive repair. In no uncertain terms I was also told that they would give me a loaner. Over half an hour later, no loaner was available and they encouraged me to take their shuttle home then they would get me a loaner later in the day. Later in the day, I had heard nothing from the service department so I called them. I was told that I will get a call back in less than 5 minutes. Over half an hour later I'm told that my car will be ready by 9 and so I don't need a rental car. A shuttle can come get me tonight or tomorrow. My kid had a school performance (I have no car so I had to bum us a ride) and I tell them I will try and come after but I might not be available until morning. They say to call at 7 am if I don't come in tonight. Good thing I didn't go in late to get my car because they never let me know that they didn't finish. It wasn't ready the next morning when I called at 7:20 (got my call returned at 8:30). Now it won't be ready until 10. Twenty minutes later (8:50) they call again and I could now have a loaner if I wanted to shuttle in. I say I already had to move my morning back (again) and that if it is ready at 10 then I have no need to borrow their car. Not surprisingly, when I am shuttled in the car still wasn't ready and the gentleman who had been my point person brings me directly to his service manager who tried to talk circles around me and his agent all the while letting me know that he would have accommodated me if only I had informed them of my schedule. Apparently I didn't keep them in the loop about my schedule. He made numerous offers to give me a loaner but just dismissed my issues regarding the service I was given. When I said I just want my car so I can leave, he thinks I mean I am never coming back. Now he says that he has no need to accommodate me any further if I'm no longer going to be a customer. Now I like my 8 year old Nissan but it's going to need to be replaced sooner rather than later. I've also got a daughter who will need a car in a few years. I think I'm going to have to go somewhere else in the future because this is just not how I expect to be treated by a business who potentially gets tens of thousands of my hard earned dollars. It's one thing to mess up, even to mess up a few times, but the casual way in which this deceptive practice seems to be a standard of practice is is bothersome. To then try and convince me that the problem is on my end is reprehensible. More
