David was very knowledgable about the 2011 Rav4 I test drove as well as the 2008 Highlander that I purchased. He was very helpful by talking us through the features of each car and how they compared to o drove as well as the 2008 Highlander that I purchased. He was very helpful by talking us through the features of each car and how they compared to other cars we were considering, which made it easier to make our decision to purchase the Highlander. He was also extremely patient with myself and my 3 yr old and 9 month children. I had no choice but to bring them with me. He made it as quick and stress free as possible. He even helped me move the car seats from our rental car to our new car. I would highly reccomend working with David and this dealership again. It was truely a pleasure even with two small children. This is the second truck I have purchased from Q, and Ardmore Toyota. I was limited in my time, and I explained that to Q, he respected that and he was able to meet my needs with regards to price, and vehicle options. Ardmore Toyota is fortunate to quality salesmanship, financing. Qasim was very professional, courteous and took so much time to explain all the benefits and features of my new truck. I would definitely recommend Ardmore Toyota to friends and family and when it is time for me to buy my next truck that is where I will go!! I stopped in to Ardmore Toyota at about 6:45 on 6/21/11 to ask for someone to please help me set up Bluetooth in my Toyota RAV 4 (which I had purchased at Ardmore Toyota two years earlier). Qasim Azad quic to ask for someone to please help me set up Bluetooth in my Toyota RAV 4 (which I had purchased at Ardmore Toyota two years earlier). Qasim Azad quickly offered to help and was amazingly friendly, helpful and patient. I was shocked at how quickly he set up the Bluetooth – he took my blackberry phone and navigated through my phone like he had written the phone manual, and in I think less than a minute had it all working. Qasim then proceeded to spend a lot of time with me patiently explaining how it worked. Not being a great technology person, I appreciated his expertise and, more, his patience. It is that kind of service (specifically, I came in “off the street” for a “nuisance” request I’m sure) that would make me want to buy another care at Ardmore Toyota. More
Made an last-minute appointment to have a driver-side mirror installed. Showed up early morning and the car was received immediately and the work was completed quickly, effectively and efficiently. As a woman, I often feel that I am talked down to and more often then not ripped off because of the lack of knowledge, or the perceived lack of knowledge. This experience, starting with the customer service rep, Michael Drummond, completely renewed my faith in respect and honesty when dealing with car repairs. At first I was apprehensive because I was advised not to go back to the dealer because they were over priced and tend to “up sell” repairs and maintenance, but I had been to two outside mechanics who told me I needed a new transmission, but I felt that wasn’t the case. So I decided to take it back to the dealer since they would be more familiar with anomalies that might be associated with my Toyota rav4. I spoke to a customer service rep named Michael Drummond, and was impressed by the fact that he didn’t try to automatically sell me on a new transmission, he said to get it in for a diagnostic test first and then go from there. The day of the appointment when I went to start the car to bring it in, I found the battery was dead and when I popped the hood I had found that there were chemicals that had oozed out of it. I was sure I needed a new battery on top of everything else, even though, the battery had just been installed four months ago. This was when another stellar performance in customer service came into play. When I called Michael to tell him my car would not start so I would have to cancel the appointment and that I thought I need a new battery, he said “no problem, I will come and pick the car up and lets just have the diagnostic done first, before jumping to any conclusions.” I live less then a mile away from the dealer, and he was here within 15 minutes with a battery box, started my car, and took it to the dealer. Once the diagnostic was done, I found I did not need a new transmission or battery, which was a huge relief, and was given great recommendations, by Michael, due to the results of the diagnostic test. The car runs great and I well be bringing it back this week for routine maintenance as a result of the recommendations given by Michael and the diagnostic report. Please continue to always give exemplar customer service and continue honesty business practices. More
I brought my car in for inspection and I was greeted by Don Cannon. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgable. He then went on to inform me about the shuttle service that would take me to the near by stores so I could shop while I wait and I could call when I'm ready to be picked up! Who wouldn't love that! I told him another time but I thanked him for that information. He told me to have a seat and that there are complimentary drinks to help myself. Later he came over to me and informed me that my car was now being serviced and I should be done soon, he told me that there were no problems but he recommended that I change my tires before the fall. Not only was my visit expedient but I was kept well informed about the progress of my car by a well mannered, friendly, outgoing worker who also demonstrated that he had my best interest in mind when he informed me about the future care of my car. It's service like this that keeps my coming back. I also recommended ardmore toyota scion to my parents and they are now the owner of a brand new toyota. Thanks Don! More
I thought everyone in the dealership was very kind. We brought our 5 year old son with us and someone set him up at the tv and asked if we needed anything to drink. There were many times he could have become openly annoyed with a newbie car buying customer, but always kept his friendly demeanor. Even when the original car he was selling us was sold under his nose, he kept his cool and found an alternate vehicle--only betraying that there was anything wrong after he had found another recourse for action. We were buying our first used car. Our Odyssey was totalled in an accident so we weren't in the best mood. Richard had the task of telling us this and he was very apologetic and got us to look at others on the lot even though they were a higher price. On the test drive he was very easy going but was giving us all the info about the van. We asked him why we should buy a Sienna over the Odyssey and he gave some very good points for us to think about. We did like the van but the price was over our budget. Richard was very patient, was not pushy when we were thinking about it. When he saw we were close but not ready, he worked with us and got a very fair compromise price, which we took. He was very pleasant, very informative and was proud of the Toyota cars. When we picked the van up the next night, he took us over to the service area to show how nice it was. As he said, all the extras that were there for the customer really showed how much Toyota cares about the buyers even after the fact. The service waiting area really was impressive at Ardmore Toyota. I hope Richard has a long career with Toyota. We would definitely go back to him when we look for another car. More
