I have access through Ford to use the X plan. Archie Ford agreed to allowing the X plan on a Ford Tremor pickup. I spent 2 days getting financing, paper work done, bank information, loan details, Archie Ford agreed to allowing the X plan on a Ford Tremor pickup. I spent 2 days getting financing, paper work done, bank information, loan details, X plan PIN information, send over sensitive information (drivers license pics), a ride to the dealer (200 miles one way) lined out, selling our own vehicle etc. Once the pickup was chosen, Archie Ford agreed on, I was on my way. On the way to the dealer, their finance manager called. They informed me that I needed to finance through them, purchased a “windshield protection” program, add a few other add ons and so on. I denied the services and add ons. I was then informed that they don’t make money on X plan deals. (Specifically on Fords site they inform X plan individuals that FORD does in fact pay these dealers for X plan deals and that customers are not required to pay a penny over what is printed out in the X plan paper work. No specials, no other required purchases, etc. Once nearing the dealership, I received a call back from their finance manager. He said that they are going to walk away from the deal because they can sell the pickup significantly over MSRP and that losing one customer over an X plan deal wasn’t significant. I then called back and asked for my personal information back. (Pic of ID). They said it was no longer available. What a shady dealership. Very money hungry. Once they realize you’re not willing to buy into their gimmicks, tricks and other fees their attitude completely changes. Almost become hostile. Most that are happy with this dealer are uninformed and have been unknowingly suckered into paying these ridiculous “gotcha” fees. Buyers beware. More

I found a used car that I was very excited about purchasing. I held off buying any other cars until I found the exact one I wanted. I called them Monday morning to ask if they would be willing to br purchasing. I held off buying any other cars until I found the exact one I wanted. I called them Monday morning to ask if they would be willing to bring it to my work so I could test drive it since I worked all day. I told the salesman at the end of the test drive if they would sell it for my asking price I would buy it. They said they would make it work. I was preapproved for my loan already so all I had to do was go in and do the paper work. My plan was to go in Tuesday afternoon and finalize the deal. I got a message saying that another person was interested in the car and since she was at the dealership they were selling it to her. The exact text they sent me was this, "We have a process here to get the paperwork signed to get the vehicle all signed up under your name, unfortunately with you having to work last night, left it open for sale and I know you committed to the price we agreed on, but our dealership has a process, General Manager has guidelines set here for us to follow and if they don't meet his requirements then the vehicle is still for sale. NOW TELL ME HOW THIS IS OKAY?? I will never do business with them EVER again, I am very disappointed in the way this was handled. More
