Oil Change took over 3 hours I would like to start by saying I've always had great experience at Apple Chevy until today. I took my car in at 9:15am for an oil change and tire ro I would like to start by saying I've always had great experience at Apple Chevy until today. I took my car in at 9:15am for an oil change and tire rotation appointment. The employee seemed flustered and made it seem like I was giving them extra work to do while they were busy. Didn't think much of it. I was told that my car would be done in about two hours. I don't live too far so I said I would come back to pick it up once it was done. I got the call telling me that my car was finished at 1:15pm which the employee telling me I needed my brake pads replaced. Then, I asked if they could get that done today and he told me he would call me back "in a few minutes." I waited for about an hour before I got a call and decided to call them. They said the employee I was working with was out on lunch and this was at 2:15pm. Eventually I got a call just after 3pm from the employee telling me that I didn't actually need the brake pads replaced. So not only did I wait an extra two hours from the given time, but an extra two hours to find out that I didn't actually need extra work on my car. Next, I walked back over there to get my car. The employee told me he thought I would get there earlier, but I didn't get a call until 3pm. I was told that my car's brakes would be fine for now, so I hope they aren't just saying that. After I paid, they told me my car was out front, and I went out to look for it to find it wasn't outside. I had to go back inside and tell them to get my car. Once they pulled it up, it smelled like cigarette smoke from the worker sitting in it. I couldn't believe that I brought my car in at 9:15am and walked out at 4:30pm for JUST an oil change and tire rotation. Thanks to that, my day was wasted waiting on my car. I would recommend dealing with someone else at apple chevy, I've worked with Emerson who is a great employee. I don't know what was going on there, but I don't know if I will return to this location with this poor of service. More
