Upon arrival, the system clicks into place and you are informed throughout on progress. Your wait time is never too long, and the waiting area is clean and hospitable - we love the HGTV loop and the complimentary coffee. It's truly a model for customer service and a reason why we we keep returning! More
OK but expensive for service/repair An average experience for routine service.. Also quoted cost of recommended repair seemed high, $1100 for a power steering leak repair. $600 for pump An average experience for routine service.. Also quoted cost of recommended repair seemed high, $1100 for a power steering leak repair. $600 for pump and $500 labor. After checking prices it appears other Subaru dealers charge approximately $400 for this pump. Also I have been unable to detect any power steering fluid leak, no leak showing on drive and power steering fluid level remains full. I have been checking vehicle daily. I will probably get a second opinion on this issue from an independent repair facility before proceeding. More
90,000 mile maintenance So far as I know, the maintenance and recall were done properly. However, when I opened the trunk area, it was a jumbled mess. If I had to be opene So far as I know, the maintenance and recall were done properly. However, when I opened the trunk area, it was a jumbled mess. If I had to be opened, I would have taken things out like my “emergency” fishing gear. Instead, I found a hook and line stuck to a mat. How hard would it have been to tell me when I scheduled the maintenance weeks before to remove stuff from my trunk ? I suspect they had to access the trunk to get to the spare tire for rotation. Second, I brought in five quarts of Mobil One for the oil change. The oil appeared to have been used (it was gone from the passenger seat) but no credit was given for the oil in the oil change bill. An oversight ??? Before now, I would have given five stars, but I cannot because the credibility of the service and the bill is questionable. More

Easy visit for a checkup My one year checkup was painless. I can ask for no more. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would use this service department in Annapolis again. Somewhat disappointed Purchased a new 17 Outback and while the sales experience with Andre Gayle was excellent, I am somewhat disappointed in the reliability of the car. I Purchased a new 17 Outback and while the sales experience with Andre Gayle was excellent, I am somewhat disappointed in the reliability of the car. It regularly has to be jump started (so far it has occurred three times) after sitting for about five days, which has become inconvenient and has left me with little confidence in the car. Annapolis Subaru Service found that the battery required charging after the first instance when the car was about two years old, but subsequent checks found no problems. In response to my letter to Subaru complaining of the matter, it refused to replace the battery but did offer a generous coupon. I learned on my last service visit that a replacement battery carries a much higher CCA - 550 -than the original equipment - 490 - which leaves me guessing that the original battery is inadequate to power all the electronics and starting systems in the car. I’ve reluctantly come to accept that my Outback is not the car to be left parked at the airport for a week-long trip. I have also had problems with the radio - screen freezing and channel locking - and paid $75 on my last service visit to have it repaired only to notice upon picking up the car that the problem had not been fixed requiring a return to the service area. I got about two weeks of satisfactory use of the radio before it again went bad. I’m somewhat confident that Annapolis Subaru will take care of the problem without additional charge to me, but returning to the dealership for a repair that should have been properly done the first time is not convenient. While much is advertised about the reliability of Subarus, I am disappointed in the car and will likely steer away from the brand next time given the many inconveniences this car has demonstrated. Incomplete Job Brought the car in with 4 issues. When I drove off the lot, it was obvious that 2 were not fixed. Minimum attention to the issues, did not check to Brought the car in with 4 issues. When I drove off the lot, it was obvious that 2 were not fixed. Minimum attention to the issues, did not check to see if the "repair" fixed the problem. Solution was "bring it back and we will do it again". I don't have 4 more days to spend without a car! They did not offer a loaner. Will not be back there! More
My first scheduled maintenance My 2019 WRX is my first Subaru. Setting up my first service appointment was easy by phone. When I arrived, everything went like clockwork ! My spec My 2019 WRX is my first Subaru. Setting up my first service appointment was easy by phone. When I arrived, everything went like clockwork ! My special requests were honored to the letter, including the torque specifications on my lug nuts; I checked them when I got home with my torque wrench. The staff was very pleasant and they handled my WRX with care, as I always do. The waiting room was well kept and had drinks and eatables. The men's restroom was very clean. I was a little worried about how the visit was going to go, but everything was perfect! Have had some nightmare service from some other area dealerships in my 50 years of buying cars, They've lost me as a customer forever. Their cars were OK, but service was surprisingly sloppy! From sales to service Annapolis Subaru is outstanding! More
