Andy Mohr Toyota in Avon once again met minimal to basic expectations! Undergoing major renovations there are no signs to direct those arriving for service needs! Literally walked into a large open no sig expectations! Undergoing major renovations there are no signs to direct those arriving for service needs! Literally walked into a large open no signage garage area through a door labeled “service entrance”. Had to walk around jackhammering on side of garage to enter a non labeled door where there were standing desk areas without any personnel. Couple of employees walked by - third one stopped and asked what we needed. Signed our 2019 Toyota Prius Prime in to have a new 12 volt battery installed - was told it would take an hour and a half - gave them my phone number and returned home to await call. Three and a half hours later we called to check and we’re given the ability to leave a message - which we did - called the “service” number again and the call was answered by the “sales” department who we told of our needs and how we could not get anyone to answer in the “sales” department and she transferred us to sales again where we received no answer to our call. We decided to go to the dealership in person and as we were leaving the service department called to say that the car was ready. At the dealership I was pointed in the direction of a non labeled door in the service area to pay for the service. The completed paperwork was not there - the employee went out to find it! I paid for the new battery and installation, was given my key and told “your car is in the lot on the side”. As I was looking for my car - the service technician came out and said “oh your car is over in the next lot - he walked me to it while rattling off information about the new battery warranty - when I asked him why I don’t have any of the warranty information on my invoice he said “Oh - you don’t need it - it’s in the computer and no matter what dealer you go to they will get the information when they put your cars VIN number into the computer! I wanted the info printed out and was told that was not possible! Once again Andy Mohr Toyota in Avon does the minimum!!! More

I was looking for a cheap reliable second car. Looks weren’t important to me reliability was. So I go on Autotrader. I see a 2009 Subaru Legacy cash car for $1,995. I contact them. On Monday 3/1/2021, I weren’t important to me reliability was. So I go on Autotrader. I see a 2009 Subaru Legacy cash car for $1,995. I contact them. On Monday 3/1/2021, I get a message back from Katie asking me to come in and look at it. I am upfront about what I would pay for it because I don’t want my time ( I live 45 mins away) or their time to be wasted. She said she can’t make deals only the sales manger can. But would u like to make an appointment to come test drive it. I said “ok that’s understandable. sure.” I make the appointment for 2 pm that day. I get there and get greeted by Doug (the only positive experience I had with this place). I was told upon arriving to ask for Chris Potter. I tell this to Doug and tell him we are there to test drive and see the Subaru. Doug goes and talk to I assume Chris. He comes back upset and tells us the Subaru isn’t there and won’t be till Friday. 03/05/2021. I’m like ok then why was it on Autotrader if it wasn’t ready and there yet? Why did Katie who works in the office upstairs not know it wasn’t there and have us come in? Especially after I specifically said I didn’t want to waste my time and gas? And this whole time I’m wondering why the SALES MANAGER didn’t come over himself and apologized or talk to us? Was it because we were looking for a cheap cash car so he didn’t want to waste his time on us? Was it because how we looked? The place wasn’t busy! Poor Doug who I felt so bad for said he would personally call us to let us know when it got there on Friday. Write our name and number down. He never called instead I get a text message from Katie at 10:35 apologizing again and then telling me it’s been SOLD!! Are you serious!! After everything we went through they sold it out from under us! DO NOT GO HERE!! They post stuff they don’t have for sale yet, the office and sales manager don’t communicate, the sales manager leaves the sales team out to dry, they say they are going to call and don’t, and they sell the car to someone else. Maybe I would not have bought it but I didn’t get that choice did I? In my 20+ years I have never been treated like this by a dealership with a supposedly good reputation. Remember this was just a second car we wanted the car we drive is a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium in perfect condition. Maybe if the sales manager had seen what we pulled up in he would’ve came to talk to us . All I know for a second car, or when I trade my Ford in it won’t be here!!! Thank you! More
Sale went fine ... disappointed that trade in was quoted $1,500, then was set at $800 settled for $1000 as sales manager would not honor quote. 2nd key fob was not presented, told could make one at cost, ki $1,500, then was set at $800 settled for $1000 as sales manager would not honor quote. 2nd key fob was not presented, told could make one at cost, kinda soured a $31k sale. But Tacoma sold itself. Car detailing seemed to take forever, salesmen apologized 5/6 times before we finally got car. Easily 45 mins. More
