Jerald was persistent in getting me to get all the necessary paperwork together to make buying a vehicle possible even though my credit wasn't perfect. 3. When Jerald knew I was without transportation, he was kind enough to pick me up on the day that I was ready to test drive the car I wanted. 4. Jerald had a great sense of humor and made the whole experience of buying a vehicle fun. 5. When I initially came to visit Andy Mohr Toyota I was extremely nervous that was untill I met Jerald Schreiber. He made the whole process fun, it reminded me of a time when the buying process was more a extremely nervous that was untill I met Jerald Schreiber. He made the whole process fun, it reminded me of a time when the buying process was more about customer service then about the back and forth bantering that goes on at other dealerships. He was extremely knowledgeable, and he made it a point to make my first major purchase enjoyable since the recent passing of my husband. I would absolutely recommend this dealership and more then anything I would recommend Jerald to anyone thinking about purchasing a Toyota in the near future! More
my wife and i bought a used vehicle from this dealership and in less than 1 week had a problem that prevented it from starting. we had it towed into the service department on a thursday around noon. they di and in less than 1 week had a problem that prevented it from starting. we had it towed into the service department on a thursday around noon. they diagnosed the problem as an emergency fuel cut off switch, and gave us an estimate that seemed fair, so we said fix it expecting that we would have it back the next day. after several unanswered and unreturned calls to our service advisor, lisa, we finally were able to get an answer around 2pm friday telling us there wasnt a single ford dealership in town that had the part in stock and they would be unable to to have our explorer fixed and returned until monday. i found this to be more than a bit hard to believe so i called bill estes to check on the availability of the part and was told while they didnt have one on hand they could if it have delivered to their location in less than an hour. i then thought i would try oreilley auto parts and they had one in stock and available immediately. after several more unanswered and unreturned calls to lisa, i decided it was time to speak to the to the service manager, tommy proffer. when i informed him i found the needed part in not 1 but 2 different locations in less than 5 minutes and asked him why his service dept. was unable to do the same he had no answer. he did however tell me he could have the part delivered and my truck fixed and returned to me before noon on saturday. while i didnt exactly think that was completely satisfactory, it was better than waiting til monday. when we went to pick up our vehicle saturday, we were told there was no charge for our inconvenience. that eased the sting of our bad experience all the way up until we got in the truck to leave and you guessed, IT WOULDNT START! they were kind enough to pay for a rental car for us for the weekend, but that too barely softened the blow of the call we received late monday afternoon telling us the problem was actually the fuel pump and would cost 700 dollars to fix. when i questioned why they wernt able to diagnose the problem correctly the first time, i was told they never actually looked at the truck. they simply looked at a troubleshooting guide and assumed that the switch was the problem. and then mr.proffer had the nerve to tell me that since we werent charged for the initial repair (that didnt even need to be done by the way) we would have to pay full price for the fuel pump repair. since i dont have stupid stamped on my forehead, i decided to have my truck towed from their lot and repaired elsewhere. i mean, they didnt even bother to look at the truck for the so called initial problem what makes me think they looked at it to diagnose the fuel pump. im very anxious to have my mechanic look at it and tell me what the problem is. i already know if it is the fuel pump it will cost me half as much to repair at his shop.
