My wife and I went there because, at the time, they had 3 Toyota Highlanders in stock in the color we wanted (& other features). This was from Toyota's records. Upon arrival, we were shown 1 and told that "it was the only 1 he had seen on the lot" We saw the sticker price and asked if there were any hidden charges. Response: "I don't think so - I'll have to check." When we went in to do paperwork the paperwork had a $2000.00 upcharge on it since "it's a high demand vehicle and there is a shortage. " I said no. He returned and said to meet us halfway for $1000.00. I said no again. Then the sales manager Keri Price came out and said that we have to charge you at least $500, the "vehicle is in short supply, it's the only one we have and we don't know what we are getting next month if any." It was all a lie. They had 3 on the lot, 1 for 25 days, 1 for 12 days, and 1 for 3 days. I also knew they were getting 4 next month (March). This was confirmed by another dealer. We went to another dealer and got the vehicle we wanted with no upcharge. Buyer beware at this dealership! More
I had my 2018 Camry in for a recall and also diag for roaring sound from the right front wheel bearing. I was told by my service advisor Ivan Blanco that a master tech test drove my car and found no issu roaring sound from the right front wheel bearing. I was told by my service advisor Ivan Blanco that a master tech test drove my car and found no issue with it. I took him on a test drive the next morning to show him what it was doing, the master tech said again that it was nothing wrong and that my lane assist was making the noise and that I should just drive with that feature turned off. I picked up my car and turned that feature off and the noise is still there. I did the diag myself and found out it was the right front wheel bearing like I said. This was my first and last visit to this dealership. Luckily I am a tech myself and am replacing it myself but this is terrible service and I will not be returning for anything at all. Too bad there isn't an option for 0 stars because that is what I would give this place. They also recommended that I take it to another dealer. This so called master tech #435 needs to be retrained. If you are looking for a dealership that is proficient at pretending there is no wiggle room and you enjoy working with people bent on coercing you into numerous exorbitant dealer fees, look no further. Super happy with our purchase, fair price. My wife especially loves her Honda CRV touring. They all took the time to care about our needs and speedily get us through the car buying process without being pushy or making us feel uncomfortable. Thank you, would definitely recommend :) More
I would give it ZERO stars if it were possible. We were interested in two different Honda EX's, and the car we wanted was supposedly "just sold." We test drove the second, and, of course they wanted us to see others, including a 2023 Toyota just on the lot. We test drove it and said we wanted the "out the door cost" on both cars when we returned. When we returned, we got the price for the Toyota and a Honda that we did NOT want or test drive. We asked for another cost sheet, and he returned with the original info scribbled out and the cost was $7000 dollars more because the manager wanted us to buy a warranty. The salesperson literally had NO explanation other than the manager said we had to buy it. We walked out. Went to Carvana and am very happy. More
The sales manager, Stephanie, told me all dealerships were selling for more than window sticker due to supply & demand. I took her word for it and found out later that it simply wasn’t true. Shame on me were selling for more than window sticker due to supply & demand. I took her word for it and found out later that it simply wasn’t true. Shame on me for not doing my homework - it will never happen again. She also added a few hundred dollars to the sales contract because she “forgot” the agreed upon price. The car was delivered “unserviced” and rather than return to Andy Mohr I took it to my neighborhood mechanic to have the ancillary fluids filled, tire pressure adjusted, etc. This used to be a decent dealership but I strongly encourage you to compare their recent reviews to other dealerships in the area before visiting Andy Mohr. I did so too late but sincerely hope this helps you avoid the problems I experienced. More
What a group of unprofessional and typical car sales tactics. Would never step into an Andy Mohr dealership again. Too bad the company hires sales people and mangers like that. The Toyota dealership tactics. Would never step into an Andy Mohr dealership again. Too bad the company hires sales people and mangers like that. The Toyota dealership in Avon, IN is the worst experience I’ve ever had in the 35 years of buying a new car. They show you an invoice with the MSRP scratched out with a new HIGHER price hand written next to it. When asked why the price is $3000 more….the sales person says “supply and demand” what!?. Then his sidekick manager comes over and asks what payment are you looking for. The oldest car sales trick question in the book. . Then he goes on to tell me pricing is complicated” to run payments. First of all, you’re insulting my intelligence on many levels and then you use old tactics. Not to mention when to test drive the model we are looking at he pulls up a 4 year old dirty unwashed car to drive. Outdated dashboard and features. I felt like I was in the twilight some. Obviously this sales person was only interested in a quick sale. Never asked any discovery questions to find out what’s important to me. I Went across town to another Toyota dealership and got the same car with no “marked up” price and no games. Andy Mohr— get some better people of your team. Sad how a couple of guys can really sour a dealerships reputation. More
