Excellent Treatment While Buying a Truck I pulled into the lot looking for a used pickup. Jhonny Mijanos approached me and asked if he could help, in a manner that is not like you usually ge I pulled into the lot looking for a used pickup. Jhonny Mijanos approached me and asked if he could help, in a manner that is not like you usually get on a car lot. Professional, not overbearing. After telling him what I was looking for, he said he could look to see if he had something. He had a couple vehicles that fit my description, so we looked at them. He did not try to upsell me on a new truck or on something else. No pressure. While in the store, several sales managers (Mr. Kim and Geno) made sure I felt welcome and did not try to upsell me on anything. Just asked if I was being helped. Again, no pressure, just friendly. Jhonny and Geno worked with me on my trade-in (an older mini van in very bad shape). I left the lot without purchasing anything that day. They did not call me or put any pressure on me to buy something. I contacted Jhonny later that day, after I had made a decision to purchase the truck.. Made an appointment for the next morning. They treated me well the next day, and the finance guy (Billy) laid all the options out, without pressuring me at all to purchase anything additional. Just gave me the facts, and let me make the decisions. BTW - Billy is a good, down-to-earth person. Enjoyed my experience with him while we worked through the financials of the purchase. Overall, a great experience. Great, polite, non-overbearing, professional individuals at this car lot. More
Sold the car out from under me! I’m a previous customer that bought a car from Andy Mohr Toyota in Avon 2 years ago. We went to look at a used Toyota 2005 RAV4 for my 17 year old dau I’m a previous customer that bought a car from Andy Mohr Toyota in Avon 2 years ago. We went to look at a used Toyota 2005 RAV4 for my 17 year old daughter that was advertised online for $5230. My wife and I went out to look at the car on Wednesday, drove the car and looked it over. We really liked the vehicle but it had a strong pet odor. Mike, a manager of used cars said they would clean it up and get the pet smell out. I spoke with him several times over the phone, and on Friday night he informed me the vehicle wasn’t the price it was listed for, but rather $7300 now. I told him what it was listed for online and he said they would honor that price, but would get back with me. Taylor Hadley then contacted me that evening and asked when I could come in to look at the car again, this time with my daughter, who got back from Florida late that night. We had an appointment at 6pm Saturday for my daughter to look and it in person so we could make the purchase. Upon arriving at 6pm, we waited and were greeted by Ms. Hadley, who introduced us to another salesman who would take care of us. She then told me that she had emailed me back saying they had sold the car that afternoon, which I unknowingly received around an hour before we arrived in Avon for Bloomington! I was ready to purchase and my daughter was really excited about the vehicle, but I was completely pissed when they told me they had sold the car out from under us hours prior!!! This is how they treat return business?? I will not but another car from any Andy Mohr dealer in the future. They obviously messed up advertising and didn’t want to sell it for the advertised price, back peddling, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! I will post on my social media accounts also - beware. Money overrules customer loyalty... More
Worst experience ever! I was not at all impressed with the staff at Andy Mohr of Avon. I went to look at a car that was posted online and it was not what was expected so dec I was not at all impressed with the staff at Andy Mohr of Avon. I went to look at a car that was posted online and it was not what was expected so decided to look at other cars. After looking at 4 cars I finally decided on one and was ready to pay cash. I asked if my credit would be ran. They said no since it was a cash transaction. I even asked again to be sure since I am in the process of cleaning up my credit to buy a house. I was reassured that there was no reason to run my credit. Minutes after I filled out the title application form I recieved an email from credit karma that Andy Mohr had just ran my credit and it was a hard inquiry. When I asked about it they said it was a mistake but there was nothing they can do. They were very dismissive and condescending about it. I now have to deal with this hard inquiry that never should have been there in the first place. More

Just go to Max Hopper My mother purchased a car without my knowledge. She worked at Lowe's and knows Max for about 12 years but I had no clue. I had to change her lease into a purchase and met Max Hopper who sold her the lease. He was so honest and could have sold me something else. He did not. He had no pressure and gave a suggestion and time to think about what to do. After meeting him I felt that he was NOT the typical sales person. I wanted a SUV and searched with Toyota just because of Max. He made my purchase so easy and made sure that I got the best deal. I would not normally give such positive feedback on a car sales person but Max is not that. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle please contact him. More
