For any potential customers of Ambar Motors in Doral, Florida. I first discovered the vehicle I was interested in online through cars.com. I was contacted by the online sales department (Beatriz Jimenez) Florida. I first discovered the vehicle I was interested in online through cars.com. I was contacted by the online sales department (Beatriz Jimenez) and we went over details of the vehicle, condition, mileage, and Carfax concerns. I was assured on how nice this car was and that there were no known issues to the dealership. This was a pleasant experience, after speaking with Beatriz some more I was then contacted by the finance manger (Phillip Lopez) to discuss pricing and overall condition of the vehicle. Negating was done via text with Mr. Lopez, the dealership was firm on its listed price, which wasn’t unfair for the vehicle in the described condition. Unfortunately, the dealership has, as mentioned before in reviews, some rather large fees associated with buying from them. A $999 dealer fee, $499 electronic filing fee, and a $377 tag fee. For a total of $1500 in fees added to the before tax price of the vehicle, a car listed at $30,999 just became a $34,873 car. Dealer fees are common practice but not in amount like this. Since I was 500+ miles away from the dealership I needed to set the price in stone before ever seeing the car in person. I was confident that the car described would be as it was advertised for something in this price range. I came to an agreement in the price and flew down to see the car the next day, arrived at the dealership with a known timeframe for them to work over the car I believe. Car was not in the same storage position it was pictured in over the course of dealing with Ambar. Car was very dirty, engine bay was extremely dirty, small little defects were found throughout the vehicle, i.e., Missing fasteners, lids, and dents and scratches. Tires did not look great but tread depth in center was acceptable for the purpose of driving it home. So, the deal was pretty much already set up, couldn’t negotiate the price anymore due to agreements made via text. I discovered the broken passenger seat, which they seem to not know of. Phil agreed the dealership would pay to have the seat fixed after the sale. That seemed fair to me and we proceeded with the purchase. In the week that follows the sale large issues became more apparent, a quoted $4000. Fuel leak was discovered, and tires showing the steel belting on the insides on the front of vehicle. Pictures attached. The dealership paid for the seat repair as promised but completely ignored all other found issues. Leaving me to pay over $6500 on my “nice, fairly priced” car. Very fortunate no one was hurt from these discovered issues; dealership was aware of the tires easily due to them claiming they put new brakes on the vehicle. They considered changing the brake pads out, new brakes. Rotors were not resurfaced or replaced at all. All in all, I would caution anyone from visiting this dealership due to the undisclosed issues that could potentially cause massive damages to others health and your own. More
My wife and I purchased a Honda CRV several years ago from a young gentleman named Leonardo DeAngelis at Amber Motors 4875 NW 77th Ave, Doral, FL 33166 We liked him right away and could tell that he real from a young gentleman named Leonardo DeAngelis at Amber Motors 4875 NW 77th Ave, Doral, FL 33166 We liked him right away and could tell that he really cares about helping the customers. He listened intently and was very easy going making you really feel at ease. And funny too! We have kept in touch with Leonardo over the years and we consider him a very good friend. Now when your car salesmen becomes a friend man that says a lot! I think Ambar Motors (305) 827-8484 is very blessed to have Leonardo as a sales rep, he’s a keeper for sure!!! God Bless You Leonardo my friend! You have such a big heart! More
Personnel is knowledgeable and friendly but they are not clear with their vehicles price. Misleading advertising on different websites and when you arrive there the price is way over the advertised one. Sta clear with their vehicles price. Beware of their sales practices I bought a car from them, the car is great, decent (not the best) price, sales process was smooth. However, during the financing process, the dealer's I bought a car from them, the car is great, decent (not the best) price, sales process was smooth. However, during the financing process, the dealer's Financing person (Phillip) clearly stated that due to my credit, THE BANK was requiring me to buy an "extended protection plan" and GAP coverage in order for my application to be approved. A couple days later I confirmed with the bank that in fact it was not a requirement from them. When confronted, and when he realized he was being recorded (in a place that's open to the public) Philip offered to break my cell phone. The next day, I showed up at the dealership to cancel both the GAP coverage and extended protection plan and demanded a full refund, I left with their word they would cancel it and paperwork to proove it. After I left, I received a call from their manager, Rey, telling me they wanted to cancel the deal because if I was cancelling those products the deal was no longer profitable for them, and he demanded I bring the car back or they would take it. I told him the law in Florida doesn't allow for seller's remorse. Keep in mind the deal was fully funded and approved by the bank at this point. Important to note here, I was in contact with the 2 companies that provide the GAP and protection program, and they never received the funds or a contract from the dealer, the dealer retained the funds the entire time. It took 8 more weeks and the threat of legal action for them to refund the money for those 2 products that were sold under deceit. More

The worst you could ever imagine L Joseph I would give a negative star review if this site would allow it. Most unprofessional dealer I have ever dealt with: We the dealer manager, L Joseph I would give a negative star review if this site would allow it. Most unprofessional dealer I have ever dealt with: We the dealer manager, myself and my son agreed on a price for a 2014 GMC Truck. Waited over 2 hours for the dealer to process the paper work so we could take possession of the truck. Almost into the third hour the manager calls us into the office to say he had some bad news. Heathen says he can't sell us the truck we just agreed on a price for. The manager informed us that his boss reamed him out for agreeing to sell us the truck at the price we agreed upon. Then gave a new figure just shy of $3000.00 more than what we agreed upon. We had no choice but to walk out, disgusted with the unprofessionalism Ambar Motors bestowed on us. The most unprofessional experience of my 60 years. More
Be Careful !! First I spoke with the Seller Dennys which promised me a price and it was not like that, after arriving at the dealer he asked me for my information First I spoke with the Seller Dennys which promised me a price and it was not like that, after arriving at the dealer he asked me for my information including my social security and I told him not to run my credit because we still have not reached an agreement and he lied to me saying that it was only to have my information ready, I asked him 3 times to not run my credit because I was not sure of the purchase, then he came with a paper and tricked me into signing it and was the consent for the credit, all It was based on lies be careful with that place but most of all with Dennys, the credit is very important and they must respect it More
