Service appointment went well, but a little longer than expected. I was told the service dept. did a full check on the vehicle, and the tech mentiond 2 other possible repairs on the vehicle which was fine expected. I didn't ask for that though, and if that was the reason for the delay I would say "Make sure your customer doesn't have somewhere else to be before adding unrequested services that lengthen the appointment time." I took my vehicle for oil change service and I had some previous concerns about my vehicles service. I spoke with the service manager and he addressed my concerns to my complete satisfaction. New service manager is doing an outstanding job on improving customer relations.. it appears to be new faces in the service department. I wasn’t very satisfied with my service experience at this dealership. They had scheduled me for 915 Monday morning to drop off my vehicle. They didn’t look at my vehicle until midday on Thursday. If they were busy enough that they could not look at my vehicle until Thursday why didn’t they just have me drop off my vehicle on Thursday? It’s always difficult for a customer to be without their vehicle and it seems unnecessary to have customers be without their vehicle for many days when the dealer isn’t even performing any work on it. It would seem appropriate and professional for the dealership to get a better handle on the scheduling of customer vehicle drop off and getting it to coincide with the time that they are actually willing to look at the vehicle, thereby reducing the amount of time the customer must be without their vehicle.
