BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Inquired about a 2010 Lexus SC430 with a reported 26,481 miles. When I reached out later in evening, I was impressed that Jason replied so quickly and shortly thereafter, I received a call from Ahmad, who said he was their Internet Sales Manager. I explained to Ahmad that I was looking for a vehicle for my girlfriend and to let me know the condition of the vehicle since she would be driving 200 miles each way by herself and I didn't want any disappointment. Ahmad made it clear - "this car is really nice, a brand new car". He went on, "there is not a scratch on it". They are asking a premium for the vehicle as it is, so I was quite hopeful it was the one for her, While reading their description again, it states that "we print CARFAX history on the same day of purchasing the vehicle from Auction or other sources..." This could easily lull someone into a false sense of security. However, something nagged at me and I paid to get the CARFAX details - WOW! "Structural damage reported" and "Accident/Damage reported". In addition to that, the car was on offer for sale in California (probably where Alphamotors got the vehicle) and it was listed at below $29,000 - they are asking $39,999. Crazy stuff, but you'd be crazier to not be on high alert with these guys. More
