I purchased the most expensive vehicle on this lot—a 2021 McLaren GT—from this Ohio GMC dealership while residing in North Carolina. Because this was an out-of-state, sight-unseen purchase, I had to rely ent McLaren GT—from this Ohio GMC dealership while residing in North Carolina. Because this was an out-of-state, sight-unseen purchase, I had to rely entirely on the honesty and "professionalism" of Casey Canfora (Sales), Charlie (Sales Manager), and Chuck (GM). They exploited that trust at every turn. The lack of integrity is documented and undeniable: • The Battery: I was told in writing that this car had a brand-new battery. This was a blatant lie. Upon delivery in NC, the car immediately threw overboost codes and dropped into Limp Mode due to a depleted original 2021 battery that failed all voltage tests. • The Condition: Their "internal PPI" claimed the car was in perfect health. However, a professional inspection by McLaren Charlotte immediately revealed a leaking rear main seal and a failed A/C compressor. When I confronted the Ohio team with the written proof of their misrepresentations and the documented failures from a certified McLaren technician, Chuck, Charlie, and Casey chose to hide behind "as-is" language and immediately shut down all communication. Selling a defective flagship exotic across state lines and refusing to stand behind your own written word is a predatory business practice. They will look you in the eye (or lie over the phone) about the condition of a $200k+ asset, leaving you with $15k+ in immediate repairs. Over the years I have bought at least 4 new cars from Joyce Buick and never had any trouble at all! I wanted to buy a new Buick Encore because I loved the one I bought before. When I talked to them at Alpha, they insisted I buy the 2023 GMC, I told them it was bigger than I was comfortable with. Every time I mentioned Buick, they had negative things to say and kept going back to the GMC. I know, now, they wanted to get rid of that car and I was the perfect candidate.. I let them talk me into buying it and as soon as I got home I knew I did wrong. They said it was like new,, no scratches or dents,, and I would be able to keep the rest of the warranty. Finding in signing papers, it had no warranty,has several dents and on the inside you could see where they globbed paint on scratches. It actually had almost 70,000 miles on it. I knew I didn't want to keep it. The next day, my daughter and I returned to Alpha,thinking we were so happy about the 3 day law. The manager said there was no such thing and I was stuck with it. I am absolutely sick about that car! I hate it! The manager had no sympathy for me! I will never buy a car from there again and I will tell everyone I know, about my experience!
