All Star Honda Abilene

My review is only for the service department. I took my Honda Civic in today to have an idling problem assessed. This was now the third mechanic I've been too. When I was visiting Abilene over the summer I took it to one mechanic who after 8 hours found nothing wrong. The others said it was fine and one (who was doing an oil change) said it might be an engine mount. As I'm visiting my aunt for the holidays I decided to take it to the Honda service department here. Upon arriving (no appointment) Oscar promptly greeted me and asked what I was bringing her (car) in for. I told him and told him my guess of the engine mount. He started it up and said, "Oh yah. I can tell and hear it." (such a great thing to finally hear!). He said they'd get it in to check it all over for sure but that seemed most likely. Within the hour he called and said it was the engine mount and it was covered under warranty! (Yay!) He recommended a couple routine maintenance items (transmission flush and power steering flush which I know need done but I'm waiting until tax refund time). I got my car back an hour later and it's running amazing!!! Such a wonderful experience. No one likes having to go in for a car problem. I don't know where the stigmata of dealers being bad for maintenance came from but after my experiences there and not, the dealer is the way to go. They know the brand and know when things sound/feel off. Do yourself a favor and take your Honda here! More

I purchased a new Honda Civic and my salesman was Eric. I highly recommend him to purchase a new or used vehicle from. He is very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions that I had. Great experience buying a new car. Eric wasn't pushy or simply interested in making a sale. If he didn't know the answer to a question, he got someone that did. I purchased my first car from here and was super excited to finally get it! When I received my car I thought I was getting a good deal until I got home and found out that they overcharged me by about $2,500 to finally get it! I found multiple cars online, the same as mine, for MUCHMUCH cheaper! The air conditioner also didnt work so I ended up spending $1,500 trying to fix it. I would never recommend this dealership. Go anywhere else if you want honesty and a good deal. I just find myself wishing I never bought that car. More

On the evening of January 27, I sent an email to Honda of Abilene to see whay they could accompanish for me with their "Swap your Ride" advertising. Tom (Mr. O'Donnel) called me in very short time and very Abilene to see whay they could accompanish for me with their "Swap your Ride" advertising. Tom (Mr. O'Donnel) called me in very short time and very professionally convenced me to drive to Abilene to see what kind of deal we could make. On arrival we were immediately greeted by Tom, who asked us a few general questions making sure of what we were looking for and that we had a trade-in. We selected the Honda CRV, Tom walked us all around the car explaning the options and the benefits of those options along with safety issues and an explanation of the Window Sticker. Tom took us on a short drive explaining the important details of the car. We then stopped and since my wife would be the principle driver, she now drove the car....I notice Tom said very little during this time so that we could experience the car and note questions we might have. Most important is that on our arrival Tom asked "If we can make a deal today, Is this the car you would want and will enjoy for years to come. My wife and I both said yes. From that point again every thing was handled very friendly and professionally. Tom took his time to explain every thing he was doing (computer entrys and paper work need by the office) in his part as a saleman so that we were not sitting there with a lost or bored look on our face. After deciding on a selling price and trade in price, we were taken to Samantha (again we are treated like we are the most important people in the dealership at that time) who assisted us in fiancing the car and completing all the paper work. The car was gased up, cleanup and ready...then Tom went over the car in deal making sure we new the important setting and operation of the car. Tom O'Donnell is one of the best salesmen I have ever met, very professional, very helpful, I did not come to buy a car that day...But Tom was so helpful and worked so hard to get the deal done....To Honda of Abilene..Tom O'Donnell is a keeper. And my wife loves the car!!! That is very important factor to me...Thank you Tom and Honda of Abilene. More

Today I went in just for a simple oil change. Oscar told me that whoever had done my last oil change had replaced the drain plug with the wrong part. They fixed and replaced my drain plug, changed my oil, and were extremely friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them! More
