Dealer originally told me I had to leave car for 3 days to get recall work done and they would give me a loaner. But I had to have less than a 1/4 tank of gas. When I did bring in car , I could not show provide ins. card so they would not give me loaner and then told me they could fix in 2 hours. I didn’t like staying in dealership due to Covid 19. But I wanted the work done. Service Rep was nice but waiting area very old and sparse. Not many nice amenities. I will try and find a different dealership in the future to see if Subaru has anything better. ! But work was done in 2 hours , but no car wash or extra gas. We had similar recall with my Lexus and they filled car up with gas and washed the car. I think I’ll have to get 2 Lexus’s next time. More
Great service for recall of fuel pump including use of loaner car. Related problem with fix has been met with equally great response and follow up calls from Lawrence C. This was my first visit to their service center, and I worked directly with Michael Roman. Michael is their service manager and took my concerns seriously. I did not purchase my vehicle here, but they earned my service loyalty going forward! So why am I so happy with All American Subaru service? Here goes: I own a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring XT. I have had a terrible squeak/chirp sound coming from the front driver's side door since I purchased the car. The dealer I bought it from, let's call them World...something or other, passed me of. They told me it was air escaping the vehicle! That's crazy! IT DID IT WITH ALL THE DOORS OPEN!! So I had to live with it for over 4,000 miles. I also have a weird groaning sound coming from the rear when hard accelerating. World...service, told me they could not find any issues. ***** So now on to All American. Michael took my concerns seriously. I brought my vehicle in, and they acknowledged and confirmed my concerns. Ben was my service tech, and he was great. He had a very positive attitude. Lawrence Chan was my service advisor and also was very professional and communicative. All three people on their best behavior? This is not a coincidence! 1. The Driver's side door was out of alignment. - Ben fixed the issue! The sound is GONE!!! 2. The sounds from the rear, no mechanical issues found, but they also tested other new cars on the lot that showed the same "issue". Michael, the service manager, is contacting Subaru. Here is a little of his email to me: " have had my technician Ben submit what is called an EQMR, which is a report to Subaru engineers. These reports are for when we receive concerns about an issue with a new model vehicle ". This is how it should be done! Great Job to everyone involved! A positive experience goes a long way with me! The good word will spread! Remember, you can buy your car anywhere, but the SERVICE is 95% of the ownership! If it sucks, your whole experience with the brand will too! More
In light of the current conditions the transaction was quick, efficient and seamless. We were able to complete most of the paperwork prior to our arrival at the dealership.
