Ken, the service writer, and Ozzy, the tech, were very attentive and helpful. the parts came in, set up an appointment and had vehicle repaired. all went as planned with no difficulties. car repairs are usually very upsetting due to the need to have a vehicle to conduct everyday functions having a repair facility that makes repairs easier is a wonderful thing. thanks to all at 'All American Ford'. Careful when buying if you live far from dealership I wanted to take the time to inform anyone buying a vehicle from All American Ford in Hackensack New Jersey about the problem I experienced. I bought I wanted to take the time to inform anyone buying a vehicle from All American Ford in Hackensack New Jersey about the problem I experienced. I bought A new 2014 Ford Mustang and picked it up at 830pm at night. The Buying process was seamless and working with Nate( Internet Sales) was easy. He was Friendly and was available for questions. I live in CT approx 90 miles away, tolls, road work and distance was a problem but because the process was easy and they had the car I wanted I went to AAF. Abdul (finance) worked through the paperwork easily. So I inspected the vehicle such as walking around it , sitting in it, starting it, listening to radio and the various things you do when you purchase a new vehicle. The License plate bracket wasn't placed on the car but i figured no big deal I can do it since ct state law requires it. I got home around midnight after a 230min drive through new jersey/new york traffic tolls ($13 BTW) and construction. The next moring I noticed the passengers side mirror covering was rattling when I touched it. I looked online and it noted this is a problem with these times of vehicles. I called Nate who recommended Just dropping by and having them take a look at it. I continued to speak with him, sales manager and receptionist. I will say that the customer experience in resolving the issue was TERRIBLE. The dealership would not do anything to resolve the issue they kept saying you need to drive the vehicle back to the dealership (90 miles as mentioned before). The receptionist was Rude, Many coments about how the manager was going to handle the situation such as " there not going to do that'. I will say I spend 10 minutes on the phone with this Rude receptionist with a long list of examples on what the dealership wasn't going to do. She wasn't trained in custermer service I assure you. I took the car to Hammonasset Ford in Madison CT which was understanding and fixed the problem for a discounted rate of 50 Bucks. The end result could have been simple, Why not let your customer have the vehicle looked at at another dealership and fix the problem with the least amount of stress on the customer? I think a dealership in CT can assess if the part is broken and needs to be fixed on a brand new vehicle. You need to work with your customer so we don't have to take the time out of out busy day writing about my unhappy customer experience. What should have been a seamless process all around was made worse by a poor precheck inspection that should have noticed the license plate bracket wasn't on vehicle and there was a broken mirror casing. The argument was " How do we know it wasn't broken by you". Everyone I know who has ever bought anything new watches it with kid gloves. So I leave you with this Don't buy a car from All American Ford if you don't want to bring the car back if there is a problem or defect you didn't notice yourself at 830pm at night in the dark. If you do, you will drive yourself and your new car back to them otherwise be prepared to pay for it yourself PERIOD!!!. The second problem was with the registration of the vehicle. The dealer plates are valid for 20 days which in normal situations is enough time. The problem is when the dealership doesn't ask for the SS# initially when you buy the car they can't register the vehicle. If there is documentation that is needed to register the vehicle you need to call the customer in advance so he can get you the required information.The customer shouldn't have to call the day the registration expires to hear they need something else. The delay makes the customer look at his unregistered car sitting in a garage wondering why he wasn't contacted a couple weeks earlier about the issues.The dealership rather than getting all 5 star ratings got subpar ratings related to how they handled the repair problems and the registration issues that could have been handled has someone been looking at the paperwork and calling the customer in a timely manner.. I can only hope they learn from my experience and don't make the same mistake in the future. Thank you More

After the customary exchange of pleasantries, he went straight to work on the leasing process, at the same time answering every question we asked him and considering every available option to meet our specific needs and situation. After a brief consultation with Mr. Travis Roberson, who gave us a very fair and reasonable offer, Mr. Watson then proceeded to finalize the necessary paperwork and documentation. He also personally took care of every aspect of the delivery process including having the electronics system up and running (it wasn't programmed initially), installing the temporary plate and removing the old ones from the returned car, explaining and demonstrating the bells and whistles of this well-equipped car. Bottom line is, we left the dealership happy and satisfied with the way we were treated. We also made a mental note to come back to them for our future vehicle needs. One good turn deserves another. ALL AMERICAN FORD. YES! More
