I went to Maple Shade Fiat with an internet price and everything changed when I arrived at this dealership. They wanted to keep their price, regardless of what I had printed out from their internet mana everything changed when I arrived at this dealership. They wanted to keep their price, regardless of what I had printed out from their internet manager. There were some questionable tactics going on. Also, another customer stormed out of the showroom with his check in hand after the car he was buying was suddenly not for sale. I had a bad feeling here, so I googled this dealership when I arrived home. The reviews said it all. They were not able to match a price that I had received from another dealer, so I bought my car at the other dealer. It was a happy experience there, clearly different than Maple Shade. I will give Maple Shade credit for having a nice assortment of Fiat 500s and a very nice showroom. They were friendly, however, they were working with me on price. More
We helped our young daughter purchase her first car. They confused us up by talking about the "price we were willing to pay each month" as opposed to the actual purchase price of the vehicle. We ended They confused us up by talking about the "price we were willing to pay each month" as opposed to the actual purchase price of the vehicle. We ended up paying full sticker price, along with the full price of the after market sunroof (which were told was going to be lower until it was time to sign the paperwork). We qualified for the 1.9% financing. How can you possibly change the monthly payments when the numbers are set? Something went very wrong and I plan on having the contract reviewed by an accountant. This dealership is dishonest; I should have walked away from the sale while I had the opportunity, but I didn't want to break my daughter's heart. More
I can't believe it; I just bought my SECOND CAR from the same dealer within 30 days!! As previously experienced, I got a good deal on a second car from the same dealership, same salesperson, (Lance), who same dealer within 30 days!! As previously experienced, I got a good deal on a second car from the same dealership, same salesperson, (Lance), who was very efficient and made the deal happen. I went to take my wife to pick up her brand new Fiat 500c which had been in for a quick service visit. I was immediately drawn to the most magnificent auto on the lot (a 1960's Continental Convertible - not the car I purchased). Jim, Rich and Lance were not aware we had a service appointment and immediately asked if we were okay, was there an issue that needed their attention - BTW the guys in service (body shop artisans) did everything they could to make us more than just satisfied. The little ding we noticed when we purchased the car was expertly repaired and beautifully painted. I (jokingly) pointed to my car and asked if I could get a price (not really interested in making another purchase). BUT....they gave me more than a fair offer which as the godfather would say “…was an offer I could not refuse” and within 45 minutes to an hour I was driving home in a newer used car than I brought in!!! These guys are REALLY good! Really fair and I believe really honest! My father ands his father always went back to the same dealerships for car buying. I NEVER went to the same place to price vehicles (I have purchased 16 cars in 17 years) never thought it made a difference. Believe me this is the dealership to come back to!! Guys, Thanks! These guys are great. They are as enthusiastic about doing things right as I am. Even with a regular service, they take the time to do everything right and not just rush it out the door. This is why mem doing things right as I am. Even with a regular service, they take the time to do everything right and not just rush it out the door. This is why members of FIAT Lancia Unlimited, the largest and oldest FIAT club in the country, has such a great relationship with Fiat of MS. It makes the trip from PA to NJ worth it. More

HIGH PRESSURE SALES, DIRTY TRICKS!!! Went there to look at a 2000 Subaru Outback yesterday (7/24/12). Was greeted by Jonathan, who showed us the car and went on the test drive with us. Once we returned f at a 2000 Subaru Outback yesterday (7/24/12). Was greeted by Jonathan, who showed us the car and went on the test drive with us. Once we returned from the test drive, I handed them my license so they could make a photocopy of it, which they did right away, as I saw the copy on Jonathan's desk. When I asked for it back, he said that the guys at the front desk still needed it for a few more minutes. The car was OK, and I had a few questions about what they had done to the car since they got it in to their dealership (whether they had changed the timing belt, spark plugs, any other things they had done to it to get ready for sale), just so I'd know what was new and what I would have to address if I were to buy it. I also asked if they could adjust the idle speed (a 10-minute job), detail it and put the panel back on the rear tailgate. The car had been in an accident and the front bumper was broken and held together with electrical tape, so I asked for an estimate for a new front bumper. Jonathan showed me the AutoCheck report (which I'd already seen online), then went to the shop to find out that info and returned. While we were waiting for the info from the shop, I asked for my license back again. Again he told me that the people at the front desk needed it for a while longer. This was when the trouble started. I told Jonathan I needed to go soon to another appointment at another dealership, and asked him to email me the info I had asked about. I was just about to leave to go see another car at another dealership (for which I had an appointment), when Jim came over. He sat down and started showing me the price of the car compared to the "value" (which was the grossly inflated KBB value of the model in "Excellent" condition--over $10K), which made it look like he was selling the car at almost half off. When I told him I wasn't in love with it and had seen other models of the same year in better condition, he asked me to name my low price that would get me to buy the car. I named my price, then he started a verbal sparring match with me about how I was asking for a $5000 car to be like new, and started talking at me about how they sell only good used cars because their reputation depends on it, and used car lots only sell what they won't put their name behind (this went on for minutes about how, if I car I bought from a used car lot "blew up" I never be able to sue them, yada yada yada). I replied that it would be the better for me to buy a car from a private seller and put the difference in initial into repairs that I would have to do anyway on their car, and would save money in the process--I would know as much about that car as I knew about the car I'd just test driven. He didn't seem to listen or to understand that I wasn't asking him to fix the car up like new, I just wanted him to answer some basic questions about what they had done to the car already (clearly the answer was that they hadn't done anything to it other than Armor-All the engine). Then, he started asking about my personal life to try to be friends with me. At that point he told me I was going about my car search all wrong, and told me I needed to rethink my car search and told me to wait while he found me another car. At that point, I asked for my license again, and was again told that they needed it for just a few more minutes. When Jim came back, he had a sheet on a 2010 Pontiac Vibe for $14,000. At that point I realized that I wasn't going to be able to get out of that seat until I either agreed to buy the car or was rude to him. So, I said, very calmly, "I'm ready for this conversation to be done now." Jim was taken aback, saying, "In 20 years, I've never had anybody tell me they were ready to be done with a conversation." I then asked for my license back, saying that I'd asked for it several times, to which he replied that I'd never asked for it back. So, I told him I'd asked Jonathan for it several times, who then handed it back to me. I told him that holding onto my license was unnecessary and wrong and made me feel very uncomfortable, like I was being held hostage. Jim sarted, "I'm just trying--" and I cut him off, "I know what you're trying to do" (which was upsell me). He hung his head and said, "Have a nice day." Only then was I able to get up from the seat. The whole experience left me shaking, fuming mad that that was the only way I was going to be able to leave the dealership. Unbelievable. More
