Thank you Alexandria Toyota. Dealership was able to find my daughter a great car for almost unheard of price. The entire staff was great to work with and made me feel that I was the only person that matter my daughter a great car for almost unheard of price. We needed a snow related repair done to our 2008 Toyota Camry as damage occured as a result of an unplowed road after a big snow storm in the area. My husband and I were just arriving at his brother's home (in Alexandria, VA) for a Christmas visit with plans to later drive to New Jersey and CT for more Holiday visiting. It was imperative that we get the damage done to the underside of our car done as soon as possible. We located Jack Taylor's Alexandria Toyota dealership via our GPS on Sunday night when damage occured. We arrived at Jack Taylor's first thing Monday morning when the service department opened and were promptly greeted by Paul Sonnhalter. Paul had our car fixed before we finished breakfast at an adjacent restaurant. While we had anticipated a long wait and large bill, we were plesantly pleased to not receive either; just great customer service. What seemed like such an inconvience at the time turned out to be a pleasant experience in that we found there are still kind and helpful people that enjoy their jobs. This week, I purchased a 2010 Tacoma from Patrick Hennessy at Alexandria Toyota. The experience was as straightforward as possible and positive in every way. I knew exactly what I wanted when I called him and he very directly and candidly told me the best bottom line price he could do on the vehicle. His price was fair, and I appreciated his honesty because as I did more and more research, that fairness became clear. When I visited the dealership to make the transaction, Patrick was professional and respected my time. No high pressure tactics. We completed the transaction and he also assisted with some accessories at an excellent price. In the process, I also worked with Kenny Rogers (not the gambler!!), a very pleasant former marine, and he was also professional and pleasant. Overall, this experience was enjoyable and the price was as good as I could find anywhere. And you could tell that the culture of this place was one of service and not the high pressure shenanigans that you sometimes get at the dealer. They sell a great product that lasts forever and conduct themselves in a manner that makes me want to come back and send my friends there. Louie More

Since then, I had adequate service- complete, inexpensive, and timely -- and then I met Paul Sonnhalter. Paul is the ultimate in service, putting the needs of the customer ahead of the bottom line. As a woman, it can be very difficult to handle the attitude of some mechanics and sales-types who would like to talk down to you. With Paul and many of the folks at this Toyota, that is never the case. I am always treated as a special customer and have yet to feel ripped off or mistreated! It's a relief to know that when I have a concern about my car, there is someone I can trust to help me handle the issue. Thank you, Toyota and a special thanks to Paul! More

I have been taking my '97 4Runner in for service at Alexandria Toyota for several years now. Paul Sonnhalter epitomizes the "service" aspect of customer service and is always tremendously helpful and Alexandria Toyota for several years now. Paul Sonnhalter epitomizes the "service" aspect of customer service and is always tremendously helpful and friendly. He makes an effort to get to know and remember you, but what is most helpful is his laying out a time frame within which certain work needs to be done (e.g., if during service the mechanic notices something, Paul will let you know if it needs to be fixed immediately, or can wait for, say, 3 months or 5,000 miles). Paul is always willing to do whatever is within his power to make sure I leave each time satisfied with the service and happy with the service experience. I can assure you, he is not a service advisor who makes you feel like he's doing you a favor by servicing your car, but rather that he values your business and he always explains situations in plain English which, for me, is critical as I'm not a "car guy." My 4Runner is now approaching 250,000 miles with, so far (knock on wood), no major issues due in large part to Paul's steady monitoring of potential work that will need to be handled before it becomes a problem. I realize that service (including oil changes, which I get quite regularly) typically costs somewhat more at the dealership but I keep bringing my vehicle to Alexandria Toyota because of the trust that I have in Paul and his integrity and honesty. He made the new car buying situation very easy and gave us lots of advice (i.e. warrantees, hybrids, aprs, etc). He was efficient and had a laid back approach which we appreciated. I went into Alexandria Toyota to get new tires. They had a special for a customer to buy 3 and get the 4th one free. They put my car up and found out that I had a leak around my transmission. That is now fixed and my Anti-freeze and new tires are ready for winter. This is a wonderful dealship and Mr. Jerry Gerdes is absolutely the best! More

The Service Department at Jack Taylor Alexandria Toyota is top notch. Since buying my Camry in 2001, I have dealt with one service techinican, Paul Sonnhalter. His professionalism and honesty are certainly a step above the norm not to mention certainly a good embassador for the dealership. I always feel that my car is in good hands and honest hands whenever I go in for service either for a simple oil change to something more involved. When a part was needed for my recent 60,000 mile check up, Paul did not hesitate and arranged for a loaner so I would nto be "car-less" and could commute to work -- the part took five days after being ordered! As a customer, I always feel as though I receive the utmost attention. I like the dealership, I like the service department, and would recommend them to others. More importantly if I were to purchase a new Toyota, I would certainly return to this dealership. More
