Great purchasing and trade in experience. The sales rep was courageous and helpful and helped us get a fair price for the purchase and trade. Service - I would say overall the staff and departments need to make better efforts with communication between the departments AND customers. The quality of work is great, but trying to get someone to hel need to make better efforts with communication between the departments AND customers. The quality of work is great, but trying to get someone to help you is a nightmare and arguing with me about my new vehicle when no one can even find it in any of the service departments. I got the run around with the blame game on who had it was nerve racking and frustrating. Please work on communication! More
We left this dealership feeling disappointed—not because we couldn't make a deal, but because the experience made us question the honesty and transparency of the process. We were contacted by a manager w we couldn't make a deal, but because the experience made us question the honesty and transparency of the process. We were contacted by a manager who made us feel like we had been personally selected for a special opportunity. We were told that if we traded in our current RAV4 for a new one, we could keep a similar monthly payment. That promise is what encouraged us to come into the dealership. Once we arrived, however, the conversation changed. The numbers presented were not what we had been led to believe over the phone. When we questioned this, the salesperson repeatedly said, "You're getting a brand-new car, how can you expect the same payment?" making us feel as though our expectation was unreasonable—even though it was based on what we were originally promised. This experience showed us the unfortunate side of the car dealership game: making customers feel special and excited enough to come in, only for the reality to be different once they are sitting at the desk. A few important notes for anyone shopping for a vehicle: • If a manager calls you about a "special deal" and makes you feel like you were specifically chosen, do your research and ask for everything in writing. • If they call you while you are already at the dealership for service and act as if they didn't know you were there, consider that a red flag. • If a promise is made at the beginning of the conversation, write it down. Pay close attention because the numbers and terms can change as you move through the process. • Never feel bad for asking them to review the numbers repeatedly. My wife felt uncomfortable asking questions over and over, but this is a major financial decision. You have every right to fully understand every number before agreeing to anything. • Do not negotiate based only on the monthly payment. A salesperson saying, "It's only $10 more a month" can be misleading when that difference is multiplied over 60–72 months. Always focus on the total price, APR, and total amount financed. Most importantly, remember: you are not obligated to buy a car that day. Take your time. Ask questions. Walk away if the numbers do not make sense. You actually have more leverage when you slow down and make them clearly show all the details. I am choosing not to name individuals because I do not believe this is about one salesperson or one manager. This is about the overall experience and making future customers aware. Buying a vehicle is a major financial decision, and trust should be the foundation of that experience. Unfortunately, that trust was missing during ours. More
I would not recommend using Alexandria Toyota. I signed a contract to buy a RAV4, and it said that it would include a roof rack. I told the salesman I didn’t want the roof rack and then immediately said that I did want it. He told me no problem the car would come with the roof rack and we signed the contract. I went to pick up the car, and it was not there. The manager was so incredibly rude. He said that no such contract existed. I told him to check the emails. He told me it didn’t exist. When I got home and had access to my computer I emailed it to the business manager. I then called and spoke to at least 3 different people they all told me how important customer relations were but never resolved the problem despite having an email with a signed contract. I would not recommend using Alexandria Toyota they did not honor their contract. The roof rack is a part that is valued at $310 so not worth any more hassle. They were dishonest and did not honor their contract and were incredibly rude. More

I never truly felt like a number until i went to this dealership . after Sanger took a deposit for a white sequoia capstone in may and telling me it would be an order ; I come to find out that the car a dealership . after Sanger took a deposit for a white sequoia capstone in may and telling me it would be an order ; I come to find out that the car already had plenty of miles on it ! without my knowledge after saying the car was ordered for me ?! I told him I would be willing to wait for another one , instead of saying sorry or being patient with me he along with the general manager Yared Manalebih offered me more money off . I told him its not about the money ... I just dont want anyone to drive my car . I told him the car is a rare car for me . He proceeded to tell me the TRD pro is a more trim for the car and even if that were the case I do not think that I should be treated this way as I pay a lot of money to purchase a car brand new and if I choose to not want to have random people drive my new car I should have that option , I bought my mustangs brand new as well and the ford dealers respected my wishes and never drove the cars or if it was needing to be towed from another store I would have gladly paid the tow . I told him I would be willing to wait and or pay the tow if the next car needed to be moved as well and he refused and told me he would be giving my money back . Please buyer beware , the service here was extremely bad purchase a car from any other Toyota store in Alexandria More
I had a wonderful experience at this dealership, they saved the day after a smaller local Toyota dealership in Prince Frederick, MD nearly forced me away from Toyota all together with exceptionally rude saved the day after a smaller local Toyota dealership in Prince Frederick, MD nearly forced me away from Toyota all together with exceptionally rude and unprofessional behavior. My salesman, Sangar and the sales manager, Ale, stepped in and made me feel valued and appreciated. They worked diligently and quickly to get me the most possible money for my trade and the best price for my 4Runner Hybrid. The whole purchase process was fast, the finance department was fantastic and I was in an out in record time! I also appreciate they accommodated my schedule and stayed open later to finish the deal, no one complained, everyone smiled and I felt like a human being and not just a statistic like I have at many other dealers. This dealership is amazing, I highly recommend them if you are looking for a Toyota! More
