We are very happy with the service we received from Manny Vargas and Alan Webb Nissan. Manny and the rest of the staff were wonderful to us and very friendly. After looking for a new truck for a couple of weeks, we stopped at Alan Webb Nissan in Vancouver and we drove away with the best deal we could find anywhere in the Portland and Vancouver area. We just love our new 2011 Nissan Titan Truck. It has everything we were looking for and more. We got a great deal on it and a great trade in price for our old vehicle. We will definitely come back to Alan Webb Nissan for our future business and already have been recommending them to everyone we know. More
Manny's service and follow up throughout my purchase would bring my wife and I back. Our entire experience would have been rated excellent but there were a few hiccups dealing with David. We were sold o would bring my wife and I back. Our entire experience would have been rated excellent but there were a few hiccups dealing with David. We were sold on a NW package and all the benefits of such. My wife and I mentioned on numerous occasions we were moving across the country, yet David never mentioned all service provided by such a package had to be done at Allen Webb. I had to call back after the fact to verify. Makes you feel as though he only wanted to upsell. There was also a misunderstanding with our license plates. Again, Manny got involved and provided great feedback and response. David is a nice guy, but again did not provide feedback on the delays as requested. I had to call him for information. It was apparent David wanted the upsell and Manny wants the repeat business and referrals. I hope he gets acknowledged for his efforts. More
When we approached Manny Vargas at Alan Webb Nissan regarding purchasing a new Juke SL, he reassured us he could get us the color and model we wanted. I told him we were ready to buy, even at MSRP, as regarding purchasing a new Juke SL, he reassured us he could get us the color and model we wanted. I told him we were ready to buy, even at MSRP, as we knew that the Juke was in high demand (I had done all my homework and really wanted this car). We only asked that we be given wholesale book for our trade, which is in excellent condition with low miles. When we arrived, true, he did show us a car on paper that we could purchase (they would trade their current stock for the one we wanted from another dealer). However, he quoted me 2K UNDER wholesale book for my trade. He pointed out that they had the same make and model with the same options as my trade on their lot. He claimed it had the same low mileage and that they were selling it for only 1K more than they offered us for our trade, so they could not go any higher. We thanked him for his time and left, as those numbers just wouldn't work with our finances. Upon returning home, I checked their website for the car that matched our trade. Yes, it was the same make, model and options... WITH TWICE THE MILES, and for 5K MORE THAN HE QUOTED ME!! I understand when you just financially can't make the deal, but there is NO NEED TO LIE. Period. I will never go back to this dealer, and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. We ended up buying later that same day from Tonkin Nissan in Wilsonville, Oregon. They offered us 2K more for our trade than Webb could. It's NEVER okay to lie to your customer. More
Everyone was very nice and did their best to make sure we got the car we wanted. The sales and finance people stayed 2 to 3 hours after close on a sunday to help us. The salesman (Peter Gregg) said he woul got the car we wanted. The sales and finance people stayed 2 to 3 hours after close on a sunday to help us. The salesman (Peter Gregg) said he would always be available if I ever need help, and the finance man (Stu) even worked after hours to get us another point lower on interest rate. The only reason it is not a 5 across the board is probably my fault that I bought at night, a black car, had it given the NW protection package, picked up next day or so, and noticed scratches on it later when i got home. I have not asked about it yet nor do I blame anyone, as the weather was very bad. It just wasnt a perfect experence, YET, as maybe the NW package will cover it being buffed out. That Would Make IT a Perfect 10! More
I purchased my vehicle through Alan Webb Nissan in 2010 - was assisted by Manny Vargas who showed me the in's and out's of the vehicle. He was polite, and honest about his concerns. While his service wasn't was assisted by Manny Vargas who showed me the in's and out's of the vehicle. He was polite, and honest about his concerns. While his service wasn't over the top, I appreciated his brevity and honesty regarding the vehicle. It all started going down hill from that point forward. Once signing the papers, it was agreed that I'd come back the next day with a check - and swing the car through DEQ while down in my home state of Oregon. DEQ was closed that day, so I proceeded to drop off the check - and was told we were "good to go, see you later!" Which confused me immensely. Essentially - they told me what to do, but not why to do it. So in the following weeks I proceeded to go to DEQ and went to the DMV myself (out of ignorance) to which they told me the dealership was suppose to take care of this. I don't place all of the blame on the dealership whatsoever - it was my ignorance and their laziness for not ONCE placing a call checking up on me to get the paper work taken care of. Once I realized this, I bought another trip permit and drove up to Vancouver to drop of the slip a few days later. I gave it to a sales associate who said he'd be more than happy to take it from me, and I insisted on writing my name and phone number on it just to be sure. Right as I start walking away, I turn around just to clarify "this means I'm done right?" - he replied "haha, yes - you're good to go, the plates will get mailed to you" Four days later I get a phone call from "Brandy" in the cashier's dept of the Alan Moore branch, the first phone call I have EVER received from them, and she left me a voicemail saying "We were wondering when you were going to bring in your DEQ slip?" I was furious, as my SECOND trip permit was a mere week from expiring and she's telling me that she doesn't have it. I called back to tell her I already dropped it off - and she said she'd go look for it. 24 hours pass, and she never called me back to confirm she found it. I call - and she had just left the office, and I leave a detailed message on her voicemail. Another 24 hours pass and no response to my voicemail so I call to confirm that not only did she find it, but are the plates in. She says it'll be another day before they come in, and then the shipping takes "a few days" - by which point my temp will have expired. 48 hours go by, the day my temporary permit expires and I call her - she tells me she shipped them overnight and I ask for the tracking number and she gives it over. I waited at home because I couldn't risk UPS leaving a notice and not leaving the plates. Sure enough a signature was required on delivery - and Brandy at Alan Webb didn't have the common courtesy to give me a call telling me that I'd need to be home for the delivery. Every single time, I had to call them. They have been nothing but unprofessional, and I don't feel like they give a single crap about their customers. They had the car I wanted at the right price - but have some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Given the chance to do it all over again - I wouldn't. Take your money elsewhere. I purchased a 2007 Nissan Titan from this dealer. On Sunday my door locks failed and I could not open my drivers side door. On Monday I called the dealer and they suggested getting a key fob ( remote co Sunday my door locks failed and I could not open my drivers side door. On Monday I called the dealer and they suggested getting a key fob ( remote control door opener) so they checked and ordered one for my truck, I had to pay in advance for special order, $140.00. 5 days later I had to call them to see if it was in and it was. I picked up the fob and they handed me instructions on how to program it, unsuccessful I asked for the service man to do it for me, he was also unsuccessful! He then ran my vin # and told me it wasn't an option on my truck! Wow, would have been nice to know that before I prepaid for the key fob. Then they got the master key for my truck an checked the door lock and it still wouldn't work and said the single key would cost $125. No no no! So not only did I take half a day off work, my door is still broken. Inquired how much to replace lock and I got the answer I dunno? Wow great service dept you got here!!!! Told me to go to best buy and have them install keyless remote for me! Best advice from a dealership and yes my vehicle is under warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed! More
All the staff we met were very friendly, professional and highly knowledgeable of the products. We appreciated the presentation of the features specific/unique to the vehicle we ended up purchasing. Clear de highly knowledgeable of the products. We appreciated the presentation of the features specific/unique to the vehicle we ended up purchasing. Clear descriptions of the features rather than hyperbole about features common to most any vehicle. We were also quite pleasantly surprised/impressed by the review of the maintenance schedule of the vehicle. We left Alan Webb Auto Group in a new Nissan Frontier with the feeling that we understood much more about this vehicle than any other vehicle we had purchased. We had visited other dealers and did not feel the same welcoming atmosphere as we did at Alan Webb. We also felt that comparison shopping gave us pricing that was very good, almost great. Overall this was the most pleasant vehicle purchase we have made in our 29+ years of marriage. Highly recommend this dealer and Manny Vargas. More
This past summer we were shopping for a new used car - went through most of the dealerships around Portland metro area and have seen some nasty service on this side of the river... What a different e went through most of the dealerships around Portland metro area and have seen some nasty service on this side of the river... What a different experience it was at Alan Webb Nissan! We went in there once, browsed the lot with Manny Vargas picked a car that we liked - went on a test drive. He was very professional, no pressure tactics, answered all the questions and was quite knowledgeable about the car itself and the specific model. We took our time and talked it over with other family members and were back the next day at closing time. We talked with a different rep (I think it was Joe), for about 30 min and went in to the finance manager (while Joe was detailing the car for us!) - got us a better rate and less money down... I'm going to cut to the chase - We were in/out of there in the matter of 2 hours (that's including all the paperwork!). No pressure, very friendly customer service and helpful financing rep. WOW! What a great experience. Thank you! More
Manny did a good job of getting me the price I requested via e-mail as I would not come in to discuss a deal until that issue was settled. He kept the visit / sale to the 90 minutes or less requirement I in via e-mail as I would not come in to discuss a deal until that issue was settled. He kept the visit / sale to the 90 minutes or less requirement I insisted upon. The trade in offer on my Nissan Titan was fair and in line withthe black book pricing and the loan rate was excellent. I purchased a new dodge ram 1500 from Alan Webb in 2006. As part of the transaction, I purchased a TriPak plan for 4 years of oil changes. Recently I went to the dealership for an oil change. When the oil As part of the transaction, I purchased a TriPak plan for 4 years of oil changes. Recently I went to the dealership for an oil change. When the oil change was complete, I was informed I had a bad seal in the rear end that needed to be replaced. I recently had the fluids flushed in the rear end and new seals installed by a very highly rated auto shop in Vancouver. The service rep at Alan Webb's said they could fix it for $135 if I cared to wait. I said no. It was under warranty from the shop that did the rear end service (which I did not tell the service rep). I just received a call stating that the rear end was not leaking and that someone had smeared oil on the rear end to make it look like it was leaking. The only place it has ever been is Alan Webb's and the local shop. There was no oil on the rear end until I visited the Webb service department for the oil change. The way it is parked on my drive way allows me to clearly see the rear end and it was not there until the visit. I have heard of such tactics to get business. I can not prove anything was done that was improper, but there is enough doubt in my mind that I will not be going back, as a maintenance customer or the purchaser of a new vehicle. More
