Travis text me Sunday just to check in and see how I was feeling about everything. After talking with him they made it worth my while to come back and trade my car and get into the new car I wanted. Thank you very much to Manager Keith Archer for the high level of service and flexibility along with an unbeatable price on the beautiful Chevrolet Tahoe which we were delighted to purchase this week.. We are seniors and our drive from central Oregon was easy after speaking to Keith on the phone. It was well worth the trip! Also we were very pleased with the more than fair price that we received on our Buick trade-in. Bob Nodine did a great job of facilitating the test drive and handling many of our vehicle question details. Keith and Bob made the experience really quite enjoyable. Finally "CJ" in finance facilitated the normally complicated job of financing and DMV paperwork and made it all seem quite simple. He is another top quality person that Keith has on his staff. In summary, we've now finally found the dealership that reminds us the great friendly service we thought had all but disappeared in this modern era; All that along with more than fair prices and a wonderfully broad inventory of quality vehicles to chose from. I'm a veteran and once I find "Home Base" I know the value of keeping that relationship. My elderly mother and I were on a 14 hour road trip earlier this week when our Equinox had a problem on the freeway in Portland, Or. We went to Alan Webb Chevrolet to have it fixed. When we got to the service advisor, she told me “We don’t have the time, I don’t have anyone who can diagnose it right now. You can go to Auto Zone and have them scan it.” She didn’t care that we were on the road, that my mother is elderly or that we were having problems. She sent us to Auto Zone and went back to her desk. Her horrible service is a reflection of the dealership. She didn’t ask us any questions as to what happened, how far we were traveling, what sound we heard, how old the car was, nothing. I tried calling the service manager, Floyd, today a total of 6 times, leaving a voice mail on the 3rd try. No response from anyone. Shame, shame on Alan Webb Service Department for their terrible customer service. Being from the Portland/Vancouver area, I will never be back and will be passing this information along to friends and family. More
