I have taught sales for many years and I enjoy a good sales presentation. I also enjoy buying and not being sold (well at least not feel like I am being sold). Gary listened to me, then made recommendations, then showed me how for the same money I was willing to spend I could get a brand new truck. He made it happen. His customer service skills were his high point. He made sure everything was perfect for my delivery and my son's also. When I brought my son in, he had talked with us beforehand, determined what we wanted, had a list of vehicles available and even had one brought down from another Alan Jay dealership up the road that he felt was the best value that met our needs. We agreed and my son drove away in that vehicle. Gary is the only person I look forward to seeing when I buy another car. The last 2 cars we purchased were from another dealership do to the poor service and employees attitudes that we encountered at Alan Jay in the past. We were in the market for another car and decided to see do to the poor service and employees attitudes that we encountered at Alan Jay in the past. We were in the market for another car and decided to see if anything had changed at Alan Jay. The change we saw was unbelievable! When we pulled in the lot we were greeted by Gary Mooney. He asked what we were looking for and suggested an alternate that we found more to our liking. Gary was very knowledgeable of all the models and was able to answer any questions we had. After deciding which car we wanted we were able to negotiate a deal. We had an amount that we wanted for our trade in and we received it. We worked out the financial details with Mark Secore who explained all the options that were available. When we went the following day to pick up the car it was waiting for us. Gary went over the operation of all the controls and introduced us to managers in all the departments. We have never had such outstanding service at any dealership and we give Alan Jay credit for the great improvement in his operation.
