Service Was Excellent but Overall Nissan Experience? Although my service experience on 11/15/2018 with Oscar, was excellent, the quality of Nissan’s premium car components is substandard in comparison to Although my service experience on 11/15/2018 with Oscar, was excellent, the quality of Nissan’s premium car components is substandard in comparison to other manufacturers. I drove a Honda Accord for 7 years and had no major problems until it reached approximately 300,000 in mileage. My Nissan Juke barely has 140,000 and I have already been given quotes for two major repairs that will cost me approximately $2,400. Never have I had to replace control arms. And if the engine components are not functioning properly, that indicates that during the assembly, either substandard materials were used or someone did not do his or her job. I did receive quite a few recall services when I initially purchased it; but, I am saddened to say that I will not be purchasing another Nissan vehicle. I believe the car may have been in an accident and resold with after market materials. That would be the other explanation for a component of the engine not to be functioning properly. Of course, the carfacts had no history of an accident at the time of my purchase. In the meantime, my experience with the Melrose Park Al Piemonte Nissan Dealership’s service department has been excellent. The service they performed on my alternator belt a few months ago was economical. More

Tech didn’t try to fix Car has a seat that wobbles slightly. Car has the extended warranty. I was told it needed a $2000 part and is not covered. Was also told none of the techs knew how to work on those seats. My gut feeling is that it is simply a loose bolt but the tech did not even look at it. Will have to take it to another service where they will actually try to fix it. I’ve lost confidence in Al Piemonte Nissan. More

He was professional and followed up with both me and the warranty company. I stopped coming here because of the previous Manager Chris. He was terrible which made everything terrible. Only thing that upset me is the sales guy kept calling me to try and sell me a new car. My car has less than 70,000 mikes and the trans went out. I was mad and he wants to sell me another car? Hold your sales team back next time. I will definitely be back as long as Carlos or Eric is there. More
