Switch and Bate ads We located an ad on Car Gurus from this dealer for a 2017 Dodge Quad Cab V8 with 28,000 mi. for $20,999. I called the dealership, they said it was no We located an ad on Car Gurus from this dealer for a 2017 Dodge Quad Cab V8 with 28,000 mi. for $20,999. I called the dealership, they said it was not sold, I was told that they were having trouble finding the key but come in and look at it. I said we were on our way (20 min) and have it ready for us to test drive if they find the key. We got there and waited around for almost 2 hours while they "searched" for the truck. The salesman finally asked if we would like to look at some other trucks they had-all V6, higher price, more mileage. Should have listened to my gut when we saw the ad-to good to be true. The reason I called was so as not to waist a trip. How dare they keep a customer hanging around for a truck that was not even there. The salesman said go home and he would call later with an update, that was Friday afternoon. It is now Tuesday afternoon and I am just hearing from them. Be very careful with what they say and what they do. When I told the salesmen that I felt like it was a bait and switch ad he told me that was a dealership choice and was above his pay grade. Well, it is after all a dog eat dog world. More
