Advantage takes "ADVANTAGE" of the elderly! I made the appointment for my elderly mother to bring in her Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet Malibu for a scheduled "covered" service appointment that i I made the appointment for my elderly mother to bring in her Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet Malibu for a scheduled "covered" service appointment that included an oil change, tire rotation and multi-point inspection. I notified the service advisor beforehand that my mother often heard a loud metallic bang or clank when she shifted the Malibu from park into reverse after a cold start. I was informed that she would not be charged to inspect the issue and if it were detected it would be repaired under warranty. The vehicle is extremely well maintained, has around 14K miles, looks, drives and smells brand new still, plus it is garage kept. Advantage Chevrolet couldn't duplicate the noise (that I fear is transmission related) but proceeded to charge my mother $180 for the inspection. After a short exchange they reduced it to $90. So a fully covered CPO vehicle with 14K miles with a CPO bumper to bumper warranty & a 5 yr/60,000 mi powertrain warranty apparently isn't covered at Advantage Chevrolet. Be prepared to be taken Advantage of at Advantage Chevrolet where they prey on the elderly. More
Waited a week for my part to come in. I kept getting the run around from parts department. I contacted my service advisor to ask what part was ordered and a part number he was unaware of what part was even run around from parts department. I also asked for a rental or sales loaner to drive while my part comes in since I am unable to drive my vehicle at the moment and he was trying to charge me $45 per day when the rental should be covered under warranty like any other dealership. I called a different dealership they were able to take my vehicle in right away and provide me with a loaner while my vehicle was getting worked on. More

I go back to Mark and he already knowing the issue has me (the customer) reexplain to philipe. I show Philipe the paper work and he is immediately argumentative and raising his voice (To a customer). Instead of going by my paper work and refunding my $10, He (Falsifies) new paper work to show 6Qtz without being able to confirm with his technicians. All over $10. We took the car in and the dealer came out and said there was multiple problems. I told them I only wanted them to fix what is covered the warrantee. They wanted to still charge me the diagnostic fee because I didn't have the other work done. Scammers never again !!!!!!!!!!! More
MAJOR RIP OFF I WENT IN FOR A ROUTINE SERVICE. RICK HILLER CAME OUT AND ADVISED ME THE MECHANIC SAID THAT THE FRONT AND REAR DIFFERENTIALS OIL SHOULD BE CHANGED, AN I WENT IN FOR A ROUTINE SERVICE. RICK HILLER CAME OUT AND ADVISED ME THE MECHANIC SAID THAT THE FRONT AND REAR DIFFERENTIALS OIL SHOULD BE CHANGED, AND THE TRANSFER ALSO, AND DOING ALL 3 AT ONE TIME WOULD SAVE ME MONEY, HAD A $40 COUPON HE WOULD GIVE ME. SAID SHOULD BE DONE AT 24,000 AND I HAD 26,350 MILES ON MY 2013 TAHOE. FROM OUR DISCUSSIONS AS I CHECKED IN HE KNEW I HAD WORK DONE IN WYOMING WHERE I LIVE AND AT ADVANTAGE WHICH IS BY MY SISTER'S HOUSE. EVEN WITH AN APPOINTMENT I SAT THERE FOR OVER 3 HOURS WHILE THEY DID THE WORK. MY BROTHER IN LAW TOLD ME I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO DO THE DIFFERENTIALS OR TRANSFER CASE YET. I WENT ON LINE TO THE CHEVY WEBSITE AND THEY SHOULD BE DONE EVERY 100,000 MILES. IN OTHER WORDS, I TRUSTED A CHEVY DEALERSHIP AND THEY RIPPED ME OFF. $600 OF MY VACATION MONEY SPENT TRYING TO DO A GOOD JOB OF MAINTAINING MY VEHICLE WHEN IT DID NOT NEED IT. DID NOT KNOW I SHOULD MEMORIZE THE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE BECAUSE CHEVY DEALERSHIPS WILL LIE AND RIP YOU OFF. ADVANTAGE CLAIMS THEY DO IT THAT WAY ALL THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT CHEVY SAYS. SO THEY GET $2400 PER 100,000 MILES COMPARED TO HONEST DEALERSHIPS THAT GET $600. SO THEIR CUSTOMERS PAY AN EXTRA $1800 PER 100,000 ON NEW VEHICLES. NOT TO MENTION THEY BAD MOUTHED MY WYOMING DEALERSHIP SAYING THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IT AND KNOWN BETTER TO DO IT ON MY LAST SERVICE. I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP AND DID NOT TELL THEM WHY I WAS ASKING, THEY QUOTED THE CHEVY MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE FROM CHEVY. **AND**THEY TOOK OUT APPROX. 12 PSI OUT OF EACH TIRE, SO MY TIRES WITH 51 PSI MAX HAD APPROX. 35 LBS. IN THEM. I HAD TO STOP AND FILL MY TIRES AFTER THEY TOOK AIR OUT. **AND**THEY FAILED TO RESET THE OIL CHANGE DUE/PERCENTAGE GAUGE, SO DID THEY REALLY DO ANY WORK, OR DID I SIT THERE FOR 3 PLUS HOURS FOR NOTHING. I HAVE ZERO FAITH OR TRUST IN THIS DEALERSHIP AND I WILL NEVER BE BACK. I WILL GET MY TAHOE SERVICED AT A DRIVE THRU 10 MINUTE LUBE TYPE OF PLACE BEFORE I GO BACK THERE. More

They called me few minutes later with oxigon sensor and told me $500 for repair. I told them that ther is something wrong because oxygen sensor is like$ 85 and is easy to replace , service guy told me its $250part and 2 hours of work. So I decline it I went next day and talk supervisor the price of part with labor went to $150 ( that is what I was thinking ) but now it's plus $130 for diagnostic that the say they would apapplie towards repair .
