First a took my vehicle for an oil change And it took them 5 hrs to complete it.. Second time I took my car they kept it to check a battery from 11a.m sat till Monday and left me with no car for the who them 5 hrs to complete it.. Advantage takes "ADVANTAGE" of the elderly! I made the appointment for my elderly mother to bring in her Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet Malibu for a scheduled "covered" service appointment that i I made the appointment for my elderly mother to bring in her Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet Malibu for a scheduled "covered" service appointment that included an oil change, tire rotation and multi-point inspection. I notified the service advisor beforehand that my mother often heard a loud metallic bang or clank when she shifted the Malibu from park into reverse after a cold start. I was informed that she would not be charged to inspect the issue and if it were detected it would be repaired under warranty. The vehicle is extremely well maintained, has around 14K miles, looks, drives and smells brand new still, plus it is garage kept. Advantage Chevrolet couldn't duplicate the noise (that I fear is transmission related) but proceeded to charge my mother $180 for the inspection. After a short exchange they reduced it to $90. So a fully covered CPO vehicle with 14K miles with a CPO bumper to bumper warranty & a 5 yr/60,000 mi powertrain warranty apparently isn't covered at Advantage Chevrolet. Be prepared to be taken Advantage of at Advantage Chevrolet where they prey on the elderly. More
