i explained what happened twice already.. My '14 Equinox was brought in for some service on Mon. 2-7-22. They determined what was wrong with it and contacted Ally to see what work would be covered under my extended warranty. Ally had to send an inspector out to authorize the needed repairs. I was advised by Owen that everything would be covered except a recommended Deep Carbon Cleaning which I was quoted $360 and an Oil Change for $79 beside my $200 deductible. I told Owen to go ahead and do the recommended work. I was advised on Thurs. 2-10-22 my vehicle was ready and I told Owen I would pick it up on FRI. 2-11-22 in the AM.. When I arrived Fri. at around 9:30 AM I was directed to the cashier. I paid for my share, a total of $544.42. ( $200 decuctible and $344.42 for work not covered by Ally. I got the key and went to my vehicle, started it up and that was when my 1st. Check Engine Light came on. I returned to the serv. dept.from the Advantage parking lot. They checked it out and went under the hood, reconnected the Mass Air Flow sensor, cleared the code and I left. I went next door to Sam's Club to get gas and when I started my vehicle the Check Engine Light came back on a 2nd. time. I took it back to the serv. dept. and they checked it again while i waited inside the waiting area. Owen came and told me the MAF Sensor went bad and they would replace it-No Charge to get me back on my way. Found out when I got home by email that hey billed Ally for the MAF Sensor and labor to replace it also. This was very frustating and a waste of my time. I think they should have inspected the vehicle better prior to my coming to pick it up.
