We went on a test drive and I loved the Jeep, Keith gave a lot of information on the Jeep, something that other dealership did not know. Actually I went to 3 other dealership all in Harford County and none of them knew ANYTHING about Jeep. Keith and the staff at Adams are the only real professionals when it comes to purchasing a Jeep. It seems like the times of customer service for a lot of things have gone out the window but Keith and everyone else was just perfect really putting the customer first. Due to the improvements (Mainly the 3.6L Pentastar Engine) Jeep made to the 2012 Jeep Wrangler, I convinced my wife that we needed an upgrade. So, in late September, we began searching for the package & color we wanted. With the 2012 models just starting to hit the lots, we were not finding the right package & color we wanted. One of my co-workers had recently purchased a vehicle from Adams Jeep of Maryland and suggested I talk to Keith Cook the Internet Manager. On a Thursday night I was sitting at my computer, frustrated from the internet searches turning up nothing, so I sent Keith an email. The next morning, just after the dealership opened I had an email sitting in my inbox from Keith. What I thought was very impressive and professional was the fact that Keith did not call me. Let me explain...I was at work and I hate when salespersons call and bother me while I'm working. In his email, he asked when would be a good time for us to talk over the phone and/or set up a time to bring in my trade so that they could assess it. When I arrived at home that evening, I gave Keith a call and explained what I was looking for, what I was trading and asked what my options were. He kindly explained everything to me in detail and suggested that we order the vehicle that I was looking for as opposed to settling for a package that had what I wanted plus other things that I did not want. On October 1st my wife and I traveled 35 miles to visit Keith with our trade. Once there Keith did a local search for the vehicle we wanted...there were none in a 200mi radius! So, our option was to place an order. Keith worked up some numbers for us and we decided to do a little more research before making a decision. I had a day off work and drove to a few other dealers in the local area to see what deals they could work for me. I found one that offered a little bit better deal than what Keith offered. But, I didn't like that dealer, they were pushy and not customer oriented. So, I contacted Keith and told him my findings. He worked with his Sales Manager and said they would honor what the other dealer offered. I then told Keith that I needed to talk to the wife and let this settle into our heads. On the evening of Oct 5th I called Keith and told him that we were ready to order. During that call, he placed the order and gave me the vehicle order number (VON). From there, we began the wait for the Jeep to be built. A few weeks passed and I had talked with Keith about status of the build and we finally got a vehicle identification number (VIN) and a scheduled build and completion date. Thanksgiving and my birthday were quickly approaching and I called Keith with some questions about status of the build. Keith was helping another customer and Wayne the Sales Manager answered for him. We spoke about the build and that my birthday was coming up. I asked if there was any way the Jeep could be there before or by my birthday. Wayne told me that he would look into it and contact the Jeep regional rep and see what could be done. On Nov 16th, the Jeep was ready to be shipped and on the 17th it departed Toledo Ohio for Adams. Friday Nov 18th around 2:30 in the afternoon I get a phone call from Keith. The Jeep had arrived by truck!!! My wife and I couldn't get to the dealer that evening due to other arrangements, so we decided to go Saturday morning when they opened. We arrived that morning and Keith welcomed us in and offered us a drink. Wayne was there but was getting ready to leave, he made a point to stop and thank us for the purchase before he left. We went to take the Jeep for a test drive and the first thing I noticed was that the gas tank was full! I know back in the older days, dealers would do this, but this has become more and more uncommon, especially with gas prices the way they are now-a-days. We came back from the test drive and did the whole paperwork thing, which didn't take long at all. During that time, Keith put the new plates on the vehicle and had it ready to go. But, before letting us go, Keith sat in the Jeep with us and explained the functions of our navigation/radio. He also helped us set up the uConnect to our phone and also went over the controls on the steering wheel and other things in the vehicle. We are very pleased at how Keith, Wayne and Adams Jeep of Maryland conduct business. Their Service is also Top Notch! We feel that we are part of a family, not another number or paycheck. Needless to say, we highly suggest them for both their service and sales! More
