I purchased my Jeep from Keith Cook in 2008, everything went great, fair price and by the book trade in. I then was introduced to John Loucks the service manager when I picked up my new Jeep. Horrific service. Promises were made and not honored. No pressure sales is what Mike stands by. I don't believe Mike even knows the word "Sale." Mike simply helps you find a car that is your best fit. In my opinion he is more of a match maker! His passion for Jeeps goes beyond his job. I am writing this review in order to share my experience of my new vehicle purchase that took place on 02/18/2012. I initially wanted to get a quote for at the time, my 2003 Ford Ranger, on a trade-in. of my new vehicle purchase that took place on 02/18/2012. I initially wanted to get a quote for at the time, my 2003 Ford Ranger, on a trade-in. I made it clear in the comments that I had no intentions really into buying a new vehicle, until a year when I truly felt that it was financially more responsible. The inquiry for the quote arrived into Keith Cook's mailbox due to him being the Internet Sales Manager and I must say that I am glad it did. The first thing he stated in his email to me, when reaching out initially, was that he clearly understood that I was really just getting an idea of a price value on my truck and not shopping around. He wanted to make sure though that coming and just seeing what could be done on a new vehicle, was an option and to not feel harassed at all. I decided to drive my truck by Friday, 02/17/2012. Coming in I had already done my research on what they had for inventory but I also knew what Adams is known for. In this area and practically region, Adams Jeeps of Maryland are known for their quality of custom work on their Jeeps that they sell. I really wanted a custom Jeep and not a stocked one, which was a large reason why I wanted to hold off a year. I was highly pleased when I arrived at the dealership. Keith told me to come in around 6 pm and he would be available. It was a pleasure to see that he was available when I arrived and was not pawned off to another Salesman. It should me a high quality of customer service and actually made me look forward to the conversations to come. Keith really did not waste anytime and had no intent on trying to sell me this and that. He wanted to know what I wanted in the vehicle and what sort of price I was trying to hit. The experience of buying a vehicle was about satisfying my needs/wants and not about him selling a vehicle. It was truly a pleasure seeing this quality. I noticed from observing other sales while sitting at the dealership, that everyone was treated with this quality. I also wanted to state how happy I was in the trade-in value. Adams Jeep of Maryland bidded it pretty close to the Kelly Blue Book value, I'd say 90% which was awesome to see on a trade-in. Two and half years ago I got low balled for a trade-in at about 40% of the blue book value which was the same offer money wise that Adams offered me today, which made me excited. After choosing the vehicle I wanted out of the lot and deciding on the custom package to get, Keith handed the financing application off to Mike (the finance manager). After about 40 minutes of waiting for responses from the bank, they informed me that the auto-computer responses came back declining the application. Mainly due to the fact this was my first vehicle purchase and that I had no major equity even though I make a fairly good salary. They wanted to ensure me that they will try there best in the morning when the banks open to get them on the phone and to convince one of them at taking a shot on me, but also at the price per month that was discussed. I received a phone call Saturday morning, promptly after an hour of them opening there doors informing me that I should swing on in while they get on the phone with the banks. By the time I got there (roughly an hour after speaking with Keith), they got a loan approved for me. I was in and out in about 40 minutes :). Keith gave me some time to clean out my truck that I was trading in and bought me a soda. I received a gift bag also which was very generous of them. When I sat down to sign the paper work with Mike, I was never pressured into signing all the extra warranty's. I meant the owner also and spoke sports with him for about 10 minutes. It felt like a family was running the business and that they wanted you to be a part of the family. I left Saturday morning with a huge grin on my face and I can't be more than happier with trading in my truck for a new 2012 Jeep Wrangler with their Warrior Package. I should be receiving this custom package sometime this week, which makes me very excited. I also look forward to asking some more basic questions that I though of after leaving. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking for a Jeep, let alone a dealership.
