My vehicle was due for maintenance and even without an appointment, I was in and out at a reasonable time. I was quoted at 1.5-2 hours so I took a short walk across the way to the mall to do some shopping appointment, I was in and out at a reasonable time. Dary was my service advisor and provided stellar service during the check-in/out process, explaining all areas being addressed that day. More
Acura of Seattle used to be my go to place but with high employee turnover and them not providing service that they said they would and still blaming Covid , they are going down hill. Brought my car in for employee turnover and them not providing service that they said they would and still blaming Covid , they are going down hill. Brought my car in for service due to service indicator, thought they would wash car but NO. Said cannot wash car due to Covid but they have sent several email saying with a service they will wash the car. I left very disappointed, didn’t receive the presidential/family treatment that I used to receive from Acura of Seattle; probably going to have car cleaned elsewhere and start having maintenance done at Acura of Bellevue. Thanks Acura of Seattle for the good times. More
I made my appointment online and stated in the details that I needed an oil change and a fuse replaced. My interior lights fuse was blown and I couldn’t get the fuse box open myself. I told the service co that I needed an oil change and a fuse replaced. My interior lights fuse was blown and I couldn’t get the fuse box open myself. I told the service consultant the exact same thing. He recommend a tire rotation and I said yes, but only if my car needs it. The service was quick and I got my car back in about 30 minutes. I received my bill and asked about the fuse. He said he forgot and they did not have time to check it. He said they close at 6 although online said 8. I looked over my bill again and noticed that the techs had noted that the tires did not need rotated so the service was not performed. I was charged for the rotation. I pointed this out to him and he refunded me then charged me correctly for the oil change only. I asked why my car wasn’t washed, he said it was related to Covid safety. Which does not make sense because it usually just goes through a car wash but I understand they were probably understaffed. He told me to come back the next day and they would check my fuse box for a $200 diagnostic fee?!?? Wow. I have the feeling that nothing but the oil change was performed because they wanted to get out of there. I chose this location because I had a cross country drive and my oil was at 5%. I wish I had waited the extra 10 days to get into the Bellevue shop, as the online reviews in Tukwila weren’t great. I should’ve trusted my gut. I’m new to town and I am a woman. I feel they wouldn’t have treated me this way if I were a man. Two stars is much more than they deserve but I know times are tough. All of that being said, I will never return and shame on them for treating me like an oblivious blonde. I even emailed the service manager about my dissatisfaction and he/she did not reply. Acuras are amazing cars and this will not be my last but I expect more from an authorized Acura dealer. More
I found the service writer dismissive, with not even a 'hello'. My problem was a parasitic draw causing the vehicle to be so unreliable I installed a battery charger under the hood and would plug it in wh 'hello'. My problem was a parasitic draw causing the vehicle to be so unreliable I installed a battery charger under the hood and would plug it in while parked at home, as well as purchasing 'jumper boxes' in case I came out of a store or such and the battery was dead. Again. New alternator, battery, still the problem remained. The MDX electronics design was so poor I was told that once you cannot set the clock, basically it's over. Get a different car. Also pulled a code for cylinder #1 misfire. New coils, plugs, etc. Same code. Not only could Acura of Seattle not find ANY problems, let alone repair them, they had no problem charging me $200. Couldn't find a transmission leak... I will not be recommending this shop. More
Visited dealer to see if our problem was covered under warranty. It was, so I asked to schedule a repair date. Brent said just leave the car now and take a loaner. Did and done, repair completed in a f warranty. It was, so I asked to schedule a repair date. Brent said just leave the car now and take a loaner. Did and done, repair completed in a few days.
