The teamwork really hard to get me into a new vehicle. Was told shop Foreman needed to have owner/driver take him for drive. So he talking about friggin wheel bearings. No do not feed us this kind of xx and attempting to side track our issue. We have been driving this car for over 7000 miles and it’s so dang noisy inside the car we are hollering at one another to hear. Buying an Acura MDX I expected better. Very poor insulation in car is the bottom line. No protection from road noise for riders in this car. So we are told (Kevin)the Bridgestones are noisy and we could put Continentals on the car but buyer must pay… Hmmm shop foreman says just keep them and buy Michelins down the road. I do not like either suggestions. If that’s all we get for advice then why ask Salem Acura. Very disappointed. We paid cash for a car that we expected to be above satisfactory and keep for a while. Sorry again no way getting 5 stars.. More
Kevin made sure I would have a loaner car while my car was being worked on. I like how the service technician (thanks Bo) drove with us to be clear about the noises that I was concerned about. One issue was cleared up easily and didn't require attention. The other was less apparent but diagnostics by the service team identified the problem. I was pleased to discover the issue had been resolved when I picked up the car two days later. I drive a 2013 Acura RDX with nearly 250,000 miles on it and Acura of Salem has provided excellent service throughout which I believe has extended the life of this car. Thanks Kevin and team Acura!
