Gary is the Best! I usually consider getting my vehicle serviced an unpleasant chore, but the hospitality and service at Pleasanton Acura is amazing. Office is warm and I usually consider getting my vehicle serviced an unpleasant chore, but the hospitality and service at Pleasanton Acura is amazing. Office is warm and inviting, and comfortable enough if you opt to wait for your vehicle. They also provide Lyft service should you want to get dropped off locally. More

Disappointing Unfortunately this was NOT a very pleasant experience, which is quite a letdown, being that this was my 16 y/o daughter’s first car. The finance guy Unfortunately this was NOT a very pleasant experience, which is quite a letdown, being that this was my 16 y/o daughter’s first car. The finance guys were unable to figure out how to implement my pre-approval auth code from BofA. Being that it was a Sunday, there was no way to reach a person to get it straightened out. I asked if they would just hold the car till the next morning so that paperwork could be completed and in typical car dealer fashion I was told “no we can’t do that; as a matter of fact there’s someone coming in later who wants the truck”. Yes, I’m sure that was the case :) If the vehicle was for me, I would’ve walked out and come back Monday morning. But unfortunately it was for my daughter whose heart couldn’t take another hit (we missed out on a truck the day before by minutes!); and the look on her face when Justin made that comment (not once, not twice, but three times!) was just heartbreaking. So we ended up signing the contract at the higher APR with the promise the Justin would follow up first thing Monday morning (gets in at ten). Monday morning I called BofA by 8 and was told that they should’ve given me the lower rate as indicated on my pre-approval letter. I left a message for Justin...no call back. I called again at 1130 and left another message. My BofA rep called also and got no where. Finally my rep and I contact Peter who tells us there’s nothing they can do. Then we talk to Sam who also tells us there’s nothing they can do. Keep in mind, the BofA rep is completely baffled by this whole thing. As we are continuing our conversation with Sam, Justin shows up and tells them (and then, us) that it’s all been figured out, there were changes made to the process that he wasn’t made aware of, and that all was cleared up. In his defense, he was trying to call me but I was already on the line talking to Peter/Sam. So I had to waste the better part of my morning trying to straighten the mess made from people not knowing how to do their jobs. And on top of that, They were making me feel bad and being rude to me. I was the one buying the vehicle from them and didn’t deserve that! I understand that every organization has policies and rules, but would it really have done any harm just allowing me to come in the next morning to sign the paperwork? They could have even asked for a check to hold the truck. There are times when we, as humans, need to exercise our judgment and think outside the box. It’s too bad someone there couldn’t step up to the plate and do so. It’s too bad that someone there didn’t care enough to make my daughter’s first car purchase a better experience. With all that being said, I want to tell you that she absolutely LOVES her Chevy Colorado and is on cloud nine right now (and thinks she’s quite the badass in it!). I am glad that the new process is known now so others don’t have the same experience I did. I suppose something good came out of it. One question—how come my truck didn’t come with any floor mats?!! Seriously weird....I’ve never purchased a car that came without them. More
