Not a great experience I went in because my B-16 Service was due, but the day before I was heading in the Check Emission light came on. The last time this light came on 6/7/ I went in because my B-16 Service was due, but the day before I was heading in the Check Emission light came on. The last time this light came on 6/7/17 Acura charged me $185.00 to look at it and told me my gas cap was not on tight enough, they tightened the cap and the light went off. This time they charged me $95 to look at it and said again your gas cap is not on tight enough and it looks like a rodent also chewed through the Knock Sensor Sub Harness. I was quoted $385 to repair it, but declined at this time. They had the hood up when I came to pick up my car to show me where the rodent had chewed through the knock sensor. I said; "okay, where is it?" she stated "oh, I guess it is to far down in the engine to see?" but then pointed to where the rodent had chewed into my hood guard and deposited some of the stuffing into my engine. I said why wouldn't the service technician remove this from my engine when he saw it? isn't this dangerous to leave in there? she was not sure. Marisol just stated the hood is up because we wanted to show you it is definitely a rodent that caused the issue with the knock sensor. I understood that but would have thought there would be some type of instruction for me regarding my chewed hood guard and the portion of the hood guard that was wedged into my engine? I have always liked the service at Acura and felt the same about Marisol. She is very nice and friendly. What I didn't like was the lack of service by the mechanic. I feel they should have let me know what to do about the chewed up hood guard, the stuffing was exposed and also wedged into my engine yet no direction was given. I went home and had to look this up on line and indeed you are suppose to remove any debris such as this because it is a hazzard. I also put electrical tape on the exposed area until I can order a new hood guard. Acura also doesn't clean and rinse the outside of your car anymore. They stated various reasons to me in past and present, the car wash is not working at this time, the service guys who wash are not here or water conservation reasons. The service people are still kind, but the quality of work appears to have dropped. I think it will be best if I find a new service station. Thank you. More

He started the quote of MDX with $1000 down and $650 per month but on Acura website it’s $3299 down with 439 per month, clearly he started way high. More
