From a Bad experience to a Great Experience My lease was coming up and I went to Acura of Avon. The Financial person assisting the salesman was "off" in the way he presented his information. They both worked together as a team and I found that to be very helpful and I went forward with a new lease. I recently purchased a new TSX from Acura of Berlin. I came in just after opening time without an appointment on the Sunday of President's Day Weekend. I was a little surprised by the number of customers came in just after opening time without an appointment on the Sunday of President's Day Weekend. I was a little surprised by the number of customers already there and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who told me I would probably have to wait a bit since all salespersons were with other customers. I almost gave up waiting after about an hour of waiting, but finally I did end up speaking with Mr. John Franco. He completely wowed me and turned the entire experience around for me. He was a true gentleman and showed me all the features of the car from top to bottom. He was not pushy but at the same time let me know that they wanted my business and would give me a great deal. The pricing they were offering (which was written out for me on a simple piece of paper) for the new vehicle as well as my trade in was more than reasonable and sealed the deal for me. I even told him that while I was definitely interested in the car that I was not ready to place a deposit on the car until I thought about it and talked it over with my wife. This was another reason I felt completely comfortable with the transaction and decided instantly upon driving home that night that it was the right dealership to make the purchase. The entire sales process the next day went smoothly and there were no surprises in anything that I was quoted the day before (this was again a nice surprise from the typical dealership that I have come to expect). We set up a delivery date a few days later and again the process was streamlined and enjoyable. The business manager Lauren Jackson was informative, kind and we could feel her excitement for the products she was selling, although not pushy. We have already referred all our family and friends to Acura of Berlin and look forward to a new relationship. I hadn't purchased a new car in over 13 years and this made it such a great overall experience!! Great job. More
