Failure to review completed work, failure complete work My auto was recalled due to a driveshaft separation issue. The work was completed within 90 minutes. I was under the assumption that the work was comp My auto was recalled due to a driveshaft separation issue. The work was completed within 90 minutes. I was under the assumption that the work was completed. Later that day, I was travelling on the FL Turnpike when I heard a screeching metal sound emanating from the bottom of the auto. I immediately exited the Turnpike and stopped the car at my first opportunity to find out what the problem was. I looked underneath the car and noticed that there was some sort of metal pan dangling from chassis. I immediately call Acura (6:22pm) and asked what time there service department closed. It took me over 45 minutes ( from east Sunrise Blvd to Acura of Pembroke Pines) to arrive. I was greeted by Mr. Louis and he immediately took charge and assured me that the problem would be taken care of. He was spot on. However, I was inconvenienced, I had to cancel a dinner date, and did not get home until 830 that evening. In the interim, I received a perfunctory apology from Acura for the shoddy work they performed on my car. No one has taken responsibility for their lack of accountability. Acura needs to shore-up there quality control when it comes to making sure that when a customer's car is returned and no loose parts are dangling from the bottom of the car. Originally, I went for driveshaft separation (RECALL) what I got was a problem that I didn't want or need. The lack accountability from Acura is astounding. Mr. Nestor Robles was the Service Advisor who assured me the work was complete. I beg to differ. Mr. Robles could take a few pointers from Mr. Louis. More
