What a terrible dealer. I made an internet inquiry to to purchase an Acura MDX. I saw a lease advertised on their website. I wanted to get a price e-mailed to me, and when I did not answer my phone when J purchase an Acura MDX. I saw a lease advertised on their website. I wanted to get a price e-mailed to me, and when I did not answer my phone when John Toscano called me he sent me back and e-mail saying I was playing a game and I could go elsewhere. Really? Just unbelievable. I will be HAPPY to go elsewhere. Thanks John, what first class service you offer. More
From start to finish our experience was horrendous. The general manager was incredibly aggressive and intimidating, I tried to explain that his tone was bullying and he just continued, as a woman I found t general manager was incredibly aggressive and intimidating, I tried to explain that his tone was bullying and he just continued, as a woman I found this experience unnerving. After buying the car it was to go back for a detail. There was supposed to be a loaner car waiting and there was not. I had a four hour wait in the show room and then was presented with a car that had had no more than a tickle with the vacuum cleaner. One member of staff, a lady, agreed that the detail guys had not been detailed, but all the other staff, men, said it was fine. The car was left with dirt on the wipeable surfaces, stains on the seats and dirt on the carpets. I tried to complain but was informed that the general manager said it was done. He did not come and explain this in person, rather, I felt bullied and in the end just wanted to leave. The whole atmosphere of the organization seems hostile, male dominated, aggressive and not friendly to women. I would avoid this dealership at all costs. More
Michael was ok. He let me test drive the car I wanted and answered my questions. His manager on the other hand was downright rude as he jump in to talk to me about my trade in. He offered $ 6000 dollars for answered my questions. His manager on the other hand was downright rude as he jump in to talk to me about my trade in. He offered $ 6000 dollars for my car, almost 3000 dollars less than what another dealer offered me few days later. When I refused his price he was very irritated and nasty and suggested I take it to Carfax and maybe they will give me a better deal. Stay away from this dealership. Their management needs customer service 101. The only bright spot is Joe Toscano their Internet sale manager is very professional and nice to customer on the phone and email. More

Everyone there bent over backward to make sure we and the family sitting next to us with a Pembroke Pines! The whole process is so simple and quick. Everyone there bent over backward to make sure we and the family sitting next to us with another salesman were comfortable. They even ordered us pizza! Thank you for you honest service! I negotiated a lease price on Friday 6/29 for a TSX. I negotiated a lease price on Friday 6/29 for a TSX. it was explained to John and Damon at that time i had 7 mths left on my lease and 3000 over m I negotiated a lease price on Friday 6/29 for a TSX. it was explained to John and Damon at that time i had 7 mths left on my lease and 3000 over mileage. It was agreed that i would give $1660 (same as my last lease) and my payments would then be $375. I felt pressured by Damon to make the deal that night. As a senior women alone I told him i needed to think on it as I had another appointment in the morning with a another dealer. I told Damon and John if the other dealer was the same price or could not beat the price I would be back to sign the lease papers wiht Pines on Saturday The other dealer did not beat the price so i called John to let him know that i was on my way over and if he could get the papers ready would appreciate his help. When i got there it seem john was instructed by damon and seth (did not know until later) to re-work the numbers and not to lease the car to me at the $375 price. I felt this was dishonest and a breach of a verbal contract agreed to on Friday. I then asked to see the General Manager (Seth). After introductions Seth went on a tirade and berated and verbally assaulted me for going to another dealer. He all but told me that becasue i left on friday and did not believe the deal was the best deal i needed to go back to the other dealer he was not going to lease me the car becasue it had frame damage(news to me). his verbal assault continued in the parking lot as he tried to show me the supposed frame damage. As as a women and a senior women I felt threatened by his behavior and felt i needed to end the conversation because he was screaming in my face. I dont think Seth would have treated a man in the same manner as he treated me. I feel that Pines Acura needs to evaluate there business practives and employees who represent them. More
acura cars are good. acura dealer service sucks. some acura models need to be taken to the dealers for servicing which sucks because their service sucks, but what are you going to do? not everyone can ge acura models need to be taken to the dealers for servicing which sucks because their service sucks, but what are you going to do? not everyone can get good service. sometimes they get it right and sometimes they dont...what you gonna do about it? if they dont care then i dont care..try something else. or goto a different dealer for servicing. if someone at this dealer says something that is guaranteed dont trust them. i guess as a consumer you still have to check and make sure everything guaranteed was given BEFORE u drive off the dealer. anyhow i dont care im changing manufacturers not bc acura car itself sucked but servicing is annoying. I had such a wonderful experience with the very professional, attentive and helpful employees of this dealership. Everyone from my salesperson to the service adviser that made my appointment to ha professional, attentive and helpful employees of this dealership. Everyone from my salesperson to the service adviser that made my appointment to have accessories put on were extremely courteous and best of all knowledgeable. I love my new Acura and everyone involved in making this the best car buying experience I have ever had. After reading the past couple reviews, I just had to share my great experience. More
I came in to look at used cars. I did my homework and should have never went the moment I saw they were 3k over the 15 other competitors selling the same year cars with less miles. The particular car I w should have never went the moment I saw they were 3k over the 15 other competitors selling the same year cars with less miles. The particular car I wanted had paint chipping and scratching on every exterior panel of the car. The drivers headlight had water inside it. It also had heavy scratching on the dashboard, mirror and basically took the word used to the extreme. By going by Kelly Blue Book, it was in fair to poor condition with no service records available and was a commercial car. Marc the salesman was all around nice however, he certainly didn't call any of the shots. After 3 hours of negotiating, Luis the manager offered me a price of 17,200 and they would take care if the paint and dashboard issues. I told them I'd think about it and come back the next day. So the next day, I went back in the morning and "Scott" the manager was waiting for me. This guy can best be described as brash arrogant jerk. There were no formalities and I was treated like an unwanted guest. He sat me down and started to say I'm not going to sell you this car for 17,200. This is after the other manager had made me an offer! Before he could finish that sentence, I was out of there! Their minimum profit margin is 6k per car they sell and they will steam roll you or anyone else in their way to get it. They also employ dated and rude sales tactics such as making you wait for up to 30 minutes at a time. Don't go here unless you want to spend an extra couple thousand dollars while getting treated disrespectfully and getting your blood pressure raised. More
I wish I could say long story short, but it isn't.. BUT IT IS WORTH READING FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I ended up at this dealership on Thursday afternoon, I left with a 2011 Acura TSX l IT IS WORTH READING FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I ended up at this dealership on Thursday afternoon, I left with a 2011 Acura TSX lease 3 hrs later. I was satisfied. I gave $1100 down. The next morning around 11 am, the sales person called me asking if I had any co-signers. I was quite surprised but still went with someone whom I told them may not be approved. That person filled out the application and we wanted to wait for an answer. We were told by the sales person to drive the car, "go about our day, not to worry" and that he would call us back. I did not feel at ease driving a car that I was not yet approved for. I never heard back that day. On Saturday morning, I called, I was now transferred to the leasing manager, whom told me that I needed another co-signer as the first one did not qualify. I put him on 3-way with my son, they took his application over the phone. We called back Saturday afternoon and they told us he was declined as well. We then made the decision to return the car, we called ahead but no one took our call and we left messages. Finally, on Sunday morning, we showed up at the dealership to return the car and they told us that turning in the car was not an option, even though I was not approved, I was not yet not approved....??? Scott, one of the sales mgrs refused to sign anything that we returned the car. The night before, I drove back from dinner with the new car and had to conquer my way through 4 seperate traffic accidents on the highway, one involved a car that was not recognizable and there was debris all over the highway, it was literally an obtacle cours and a back up of 10+ miles... All this with driving a car that I'm not even approved on....? I called Monday morning to speak with the leasing manager whom I signed the paperwork with, Mr. Kalouf, he acknowledged I turned in the car and told me that he needed to speak with the GM to get approval to refund my deposit. I called back a few hours later and spoke wtih Mr. Malouf, in the middle of our conversation, I heard someone say "what is this woman's problem?". I spoke to this man, whose name I do not have who told me that he is "too busy to deal with real customers", that I'm wasting him time, said "bye bye"and hung up on me. I wrote an e-mail to Mr. Malouf and copied the Gen. Mgr., Seth Finkel right after stating that I am appalled with this incident and wrote in my e-mail that although I did not know who decided to join in on the conversation, I would sincerly hope it was not the GM. A few hours later, I received an email from the GM assuring me that it was not him on the phone and that he would call me the next day after 1 pm (today). I responded by sincerely thanking him for his response. The GM called me today. He was quite defensive from the start. This is where the puzzling part of the story starts: he told me that I did not have any right returning the car (even though I am still not approved at this time) AND that the moment I returned the car, the dealership stop trying to approve me. GOOD!!! Then he went on to say that if I do get approved, the car is my obligation. I had already asked the leasing mgr which bank(s) they are trying to approve me with. Per him, it was only one bank, Honda Lease, the one that is on my application. I called that institution several times, as well as Acura Leasing, but yet no one has any record of my application...? I conveyed such to the GM at which point he told me he works with 20 different banks and if I do get approved, the car is my obligation..... This was just after he told me that the dealership stopped trying to approve me as of Sunday....? I was quite polite, but he would not let me talk. I asked him to simply refund my deposit as I am not approved, nor with co signers and he told me that I will not get my deposit back, that he will report me to whomever and suggested I contact an attorney. After that, he told me we had nothing to talk about anymore and told me this conversation was over and hung up on me.... I have since filed a formal complaint with Acura Customer Relations. I must duly give credit to John Toscano, our original Sales Rep who was truly professional throughout the whole ordeal... In conclusion, I am appalled at the lack of professionalism from this dealership, right down to the GM. As I am writing this, still have not been approved, they have the car for two days now and still have my money... More
