The sales rep was very attentive to our needs We came in Saturday to look at the cars listed on the internet...All but one (1) was still available to review. Be Honest and Stop trying to be tricky and slick I am not happy with my service yesterday, being that I am very humble and non-belligerent , I just decided to pay my expenses bill and watch the Manag I am not happy with my service yesterday, being that I am very humble and non-belligerent , I just decided to pay my expenses bill and watch the Manager sell me his quota for the day. At least that is my factual opinion. First let me say that I bring in my car for numerous oil change and jobs in which I purchase original Acura parts for my vehicle. Second I do not take short cuts with my vehicle I use Acura original parts and services. But as 60 minutes aired over a year ago. How do we know when the service manager is not trying change into a salesman just for numbers? I took it upon myself to car an Acura Dealership in front of the Manager of Pembroke Pine Deal Acura this past Saturday just to prove that I done of $12,000 worth of work on my Acura TL. Yet still the manager was vague, and said" look we don't know where the noise is coming from so it can be the Struts or the Pressure Monitor so if you fix one then we can possible eliminate the other or just do both, but I would recommend doing the pressure monitor because it is broken according to the technician" added up to over $825 should I do the work. Then he went on to say that the technician stated that he think he hears noise coming from the Right Strut and.or Right Tire- pressure monitor. The Manager didn't say say that the right Struts was broken nor did he show me what the Strut look like and then went on to say that the notice I had replaced one of the Strut with an off the market Strut, Incorrect I purchase original Acura Strut to replace the left Strut which was put on at the Pembroke Pine Acura dealership in Florida,, the other three Struts were replaced at the Acura Dealership in Scarsdale, New York. I felt like I was being hustled and I was, but I continue to show Corporate Acura a major point, honesty is the best policy. I am taking this time to write a lengthy statement, and I have been advocating Acura and other Major Dealerships where I purchase my vehicles from to have more Transparency when it comes to services and cars being repaired. In fact they should do what Mavis Tire Shop do when they are fixing vehicles , for I happen to meet the CEO in Greenwich , Connecticut who owns and operates 900 Mavis Tire Shops throughout the east coast and that is a Huge Glass Window where people can see how his or her vehicle is being serviced. God know what is happening, again the Manager Mr. Ferber was amazing in his calm tone voice and so what I just as professional as can be, but in the end, at least have the technician drive the vehicle even on the lot before and after the job, just to make sure the noise stops , the car is still making noise and now I can see why the manager was leaning to have the Pressure monitor replaced. More
