I will start from the beginning so I am as accurate as possible. vehicle purchased on January 11th, a Sturday. Process from time of entering showroom and exiting finance employee office was close to 8 hours. Unacceptable. I purchased a ZDX, an EV. It was given to me to drive home with a charge equivalent to approximately 40 miles. I live 20 plus miles from the dealership. The dealership EV charges were not functioning, unacceptable. I spent hours with the finance manager, how many times he had to repeat the process would require a calculator. My salesman who had to stay until the paperwork was completed agreed the finance manager needed some reinforced training. Once again an unacceptable outcome. Personnel were very nice and friendly, not very effective is my complaint. I was not explained my charger options very clearly. Also the parts department was closed and I was told a portable charger would be delivered to my house on Monday. Monday I'm told the dealership is out of portable EV chargers and it would take till Tuesday to find me one. Once again unacceptable. Acura has a prior to turning vehicle over to customer an inspection process. My vehicle did not get delivered to me that way. I had to bring it back to the dealership on Wednesday to complete this process. At that time the service department also got grease on my front passengers seat. It was not able to be cleaned to the service department manager satisfaction and he said they would order me a new seat cover, still not repaired though. But xxxx happens and I understand that and I can live with it till they follow through on the required repair. The day after I got home I read on Acura website on EV options and discover they offer a free hard wired charger option and an installation credit. I then when through the Acura process called 'evolution' to find out that dealership needs to reset a code on my sales paperwork as it shows I have selected a portable charger. I didn't exactly select it, it was required as the vehicle as delivered had less than 15% battery life. Dealership was not very clear on these options for chargers as the hard wire charger would be a better long term option for my charging needs. Dealership refused or said they were unable to make the change. General manager also said I was better off buying my own charger at best buy and finding my own installer and not try to get the installation credit as they believe the installation costs estimate I was provided on an Acura site probably inaccurate and my bill once they were on site would far exceed the estimate. This sounded unbelievable to me. Once again unacceptable. I'm also to blame here I should have been better prepared to understand the Acura EV options for battery charger options. But I do feel the options were not explained to me thoroughly at the dealership. Totally frustrated I opted to but my own EV charger and outsource the installation. But i still can't believe an Acura dealership would not recommend I use Acura brand featured services. When you purchase a ZDX they give you $400 of the charging credits to EVGO chargers. I made two visits to charging stations near my home. One charging station was a level 1 and acted as fast as my portable charger. EVGO confirmed it was broken. Second charging station I visited, no one waiting. Why? It wasn't working, I confirmed that with EVGO. Also, the number of EVGO charging stations pales in comparison to let's say electrify America. But I do love my car. This is my first time buying with Acura of Pembroke Pines. I have always used the service department and was totally impressed and that's why I went to buy there. I will not purchase again from this dealership. More

For the first time in my life, I can say that I truly had a pleasant experience buying a vehicle. The entire staff at Acura of Pembroke Pines with whom I dealt with, from Andrea Gomez, my salesperson, Brian a pleasant experience buying a vehicle. The entire staff at Acura of Pembroke Pines with whom I dealt with, from Andrea Gomez, my salesperson, Brian (or Ryan) Reeves the Sales Manager, Kelly Igarza, the in-house Insurance Representative, to Sean Bradford, the Finance Manager, was magnificent with their respective presentation, communication, transparency, and in the overall professionalism displayed along the process. Everyone was very helpful in their own way and area of knowledge and authority. I left the dealership very satisfied with the treatment received from everyone and with the Certified Pre-Owned Acura RDX purchased. Congratulations on a job very well done! Thank you. Sincerely, Hiram E. Velazquez More
