Lack of Communication! On 1 Dec 2017 I had my 2014 MDX in for a B123 service. I brought my own Mobil 1, 0W20 synthetic oil in and Jim wrote up the order to use owner suppli On 1 Dec 2017 I had my 2014 MDX in for a B123 service. I brought my own Mobil 1, 0W20 synthetic oil in and Jim wrote up the order to use owner supplied oil. Upon checkout however, Todd told me due to miscommunication the techs in shop did not use my oil, but instead used their normal oil. Since the first oil change, my MDX has had nothing but Mobil 1 used into and I was extremely disappointed to hear my request to use my supplied oil was not followed. More

Great experience I’m not someone that takes my cars to the dealer if I can avoid it. The thing I appreciated the most was the amount of communication I received regarding my car and the service being performed. I would definitely recommend this dealer for service on your vehicle. A poor customer experience I purchased my vehicle from Acura Columbus and have been taking it there for service for quite some time and have, for the most part, had positive exp I purchased my vehicle from Acura Columbus and have been taking it there for service for quite some time and have, for the most part, had positive experiences. This past appointment (11/21/17) was something of an anomaly. I brought the vehicle in for significantly reduced gas mileage after having it serviced 2 weeks prior. Since that previous service appointment (to replace a couple filters and update some transmission software) I've been seeing 2 - 4 mpg less than I've been averaging for the previous 2.5 years. It was significant enough of a change to warrant a repeat visit to investigate. Upon speaking to the service representative on the phone I was informed that it was likely to due to colder temperatures. I mentioned my hesitation in that diagnosis as I've had the vehicle for numerous winters and am accustomed to the usual slight drop in gas mileage when the temps dip. This was more significant than that and I asked that he have a tech look at it. He agreed. Later that day I was texted and informed that vehicle was ready for pick up and that they had washed it and done a light vacuum of the interior...pretty standard practice for a service visit. However, when I arrived to pick it up, there's was no explanation for the mpg drop other than "The technician...checked to make sure the engine air filter and cabin air filters were properly installed (they were)." No other comments as to what might be causing the change in mpg. When I asked the receptionist if I could speak to someone for more information, I was told no one was available at the moment, so I left. After walking out to pick up my car I immediately noticed it had NOT been washed and it had NOT been vacuumed. In and of itself, not a big deal, other than the fact that I was told it had been. After starting the car, I also noticed via the dashboard computer that the tires were overinflated by 4 - 5 psi per tire. Again, not a huge deal, but I do expect a bit more from Acura service than that level of slop. I have copies of the texts messages and a photo of the dash computer on hand if necessary, but it's all so silly really. I just would have appreciated a bit more interest in the issue I was having as it's a significant hit to the wallet in gas mileage that all started so suddenly after the last service appointment. Lastly, I did have the dealer change the oil and change transmission and transfer case fluids as well. In the end, I guess I just expect a bit more customer service from an Acura dealership, regardless what the problem may be and how insignificant the CSR may think it is. More

It just so happened I ran into the owner and he is a great guy. I also met the new sales manager and one of the Salesman named Adam. All these guys really seemed to like there job and had a great sense of pride working there. So I will say this if your looking for a car or need service on yoir vehicle don't hestitate.
