I purchased a new TLX Advance in 2021. I had several minor mechanical issues that needed to be addressed initially, but Acura Columbus was very helpful in resolving all but one. The Wirele I had several minor mechanical issues that needed to be addressed initially, but Acura Columbus was very helpful in resolving all but one. The Wireless Charging Pad/Unit in the main console is defective, or not compatible with any iPhone 12 model or newer. We were told shortly after we recognized the problem that it would be fixed by Acura, however two years have gone by, and there has been no effort to identify a fix. Today during my routine service appointment, I inquired again about it, and was told that it will never work with our phones. It’s frustrating to know that you pay so much for a higher end car, and then find out after the fact that a desirable convenience feature can’t be repaired. The attitude and comment was “oh well, sorry about that”. Makes me wonder what other defects or shortcuts are considered acceptable by Acura when selling a vehicle (without notifying a consumer ahead of time). Other than that, I’ve had a decent experience with this dealership, and I do appreciate the detailed follow up after I’ve had the car in for service. More
