Have had problems with my rear passenger door since day one I have had problems with the rear passenger door latch on my 2014 MDX since day one. It doesn't catch properly at times. The service team at Acura of columbus has never acknowledged my concern . Finally last week I had my car in for service and one of the service managers looked at it and agreed. They couldnt do any work on it then so I made an appointment for the following week. He promised that they would take the inside door panel off at that time. I also ordered 2 new tires. Well I got the tires ---490.00$ and paid for them. Nobody went over the repair with me. I asked for someone to talk with me about it and they sent out a customer service kid who had no idea. Well I got it home and it is still doing the same thing. I doubt that they removed the door panel because the work was done fairly quickly. And another problem was lack of loaner cars despite making my appointment a week in advance . They washed the outside of the car but did not vacuum the floor mats up front or in the back. More
Transmission Problem - No Problem I recently took my 2-month old Acura MDX in for service after having a technician perform a "ride-along" with me to diagnose what I feel are some tran I recently took my 2-month old Acura MDX in for service after having a technician perform a "ride-along" with me to diagnose what I feel are some transmission issues. When accelerating from a stop the tachometer quickly jumps RPMs without giving the car much noticeable acceleration. It seems to do this when shifting from 1-2, 2-3 and sometimes 3-4. I am not a "lead foot" but things just didn't seem right. The technician that I rode with (possibly Eddy?) agreed that they should take a further look at it. I dropped my MDX off a few days later but unfortunately they didn't find any issue. Now I am worried that I have an expensive lease payment for the next 2.5+ years on a vehicle that I am not thrilled with (this is the ONLY issue I have with the vehicle - I LOVE everything else!). The rest of my service experience was excellent. When I returned the loaner vehicle the next day I had forgotten my garage door opener in it. I called and spoke with Jami who was able to track down the garage opener from the next customer who had the loaner vehicle and get it back to me the very next day. That was excellent service! More

the experience was great !!! the service was great even though it took longer than i thought to just get the the font plate rack to be installed it was totally wroth the wait th the service was great even though it took longer than i thought to just get the the font plate rack to be installed it was totally wroth the wait the guy that help can"t remember his name but he came more than once to come check on me make sure is doing good and that i was doing great while i waited for my car . Oil Change - Filters were changed as well. I scheduled an oil change and it was recommended again to change the air filter and cabin filter. After talking with a friend, I found out $110 to change both filters is outrageous. So I'm not happy about that. I have always been happy with the service I receive at Acura but feel like I was taken advantage of now. I am happy with the service provided and your willingness to get me in at 8:30am instead of my scheduled time of 4pm. I appreciated that. The only other thing I noticed was my floor mats were not vacuumed but the exterior of the car looked great after coming out of the wash. More

Disappointed With Response. Had 9 AM appt for noise in front end. Took ride with service rep; he confirmed. About 10 AM I asked status; was told it was going for test ride. Inquired about 45-60 minutes later and was told it was being test driven to make sure it was fixed. Another 30 minutes and the guy I talked to at his podium came to me to say they were fixing bushings. I said he was suppose to give me an estimate before fixing. He said it was under warranty. My mileage on my car was one mile more than when I drove the car in, plus that mile was with the service tech, Eddie. The copy of the work they gave me had 7 miles added to the mileage. There were no test drives, but they tried to make it look like there were. When the guy came out to tell me about the bushings, I asked if the car in the work area was mine. He confirmed it was. It was the first time the car was in there, because the TV monitor doesn't lie. More
Part snafu They had to order a part so I came back a few days later and after disassembling my car they noticed the part wasn't there. They sent me home in a brand new car for a few days until my car was fixed and I brought theirs back. I feel they were up front about the mix-up and Jami handled it like a pro. Other than some of my time, I don't feel like I lost anything and as always they treat you like you are the most important person there. Acura Columbus continues to be my favorite car store. More
