Thanks for being our customer — sorry for the lack of a good answer on the iPhone 12. I looked up the “Service News Article” that Acura sent out and it says to let the customer “know that we are aware of these concerns and are currently looking into it. Replacing the wireless charger or using another iPhone 12 will not address the client’s concern. Advise your client to use a USB charging cord until a repair is available.” I wish I had a better answer for you — seems that we are driving computers nowadays. If it helps at all, please don’t hesitate to call Acura Client Relations https://www.acura.com/contact-us or by phone at (800) 382-2238. I have contacted the technical division in California on this issue. I am sure they would like to figure out a software patch on this issue as much as we’d like to get the fix. John I sincerely appreciate your response to my frustration regarding the Wireless charging pad in my 2021 Acura TLX (Advance), and also that you've made an attempt to identify a solution with Client Relations. To clarify though, my comments weren't referencing the iPhone 12 that I owned when purchasing the car 2 years ago, but rather with the new iPhone 14 that I recently upgraded which also wasn't compatible. I found it odd that after two years, there still wasn't a resolution with the software or development of an upgraded unit. The purpose of my review was not meant to reflect negatively on your dealership. Your staff and level of service are exceptional. That fact that you took the time to personally address my concern is impressive and I thank you for your efforts in looking into the issue.
