Bad customer service-Changed after complaint I serviced my Acura RDX there and customer service was bad. Not able to use the coupon which I printed from their website. Car was not washed and vacuumed either and no one cared to inform me that they had broken car wash . They promised to do the car wash next Day when I sent an email but Who will drive to just get a car wash. Update: Larry called me and apologized for the bad experience . He promised to send car wash coupons and promised to provide next service free. Awesome service after the complaint. I hope others need not to complain in future. i More

At the service desk I am told exactly what service will be performed, what my options are, and how long the service will take. I rarely ask for a loaner because most of the services I have needed have been completed in about 60 minutes. My car is returned to me clean and serviced and with a smile. I have been going to Acura Columbus for nearly 4 years for the service on my RDX. I am quite happy with them! More

Purchase of a 3 year old RDX I wasn't having much luck finding a RDX in Cincinnati so I decided to look at neighboring Columbus. I had to do most of my looking online and had a c I wasn't having much luck finding a RDX in Cincinnati so I decided to look at neighboring Columbus. I had to do most of my looking online and had a conversation or two with Mike. It seemed as if they were going through a tough time as their GM had resigned so it seemed a bit chaotic. I was slightly disappointed that I was more or less set to come purchase a car on Saturday that I was told on Wednesday was in good condition...then on Friday night a got a call about dings and dents on lift gate and rubbing on rotors. I had a ride lined up to go on Saturday and now I didn't know whether we would or not. I had asked for them to give me an update on what the service dept had done before I end of day Friday, but I didn't get a call until Saturday. Nontheless, I made the trip anyway. Mike paired me with a young associated named Andrew who was a very nice guy and I enjoyed working with. The RDX I had been talking to them about turned out to not be in great condition... dings were real, interior wasn't that well cared for, and it had a little bit of a scent to it. However, there was another RDX that was far nicer albeit 2k more expensive....and long story short I bought that car. After we were about done with the paper work Mike told me there was only one key for the car. I asked him to cover it, he said he couldn't. I asked him to split it, he said he couldn't. He just told me to go to an Acura dealer back in Cinci and get one from them for ~$300. To me it was very disappointing that I was spending 25,000 on a vehicle and they wouldn't buy me a key. Especially given they didn't really tell me about it before-hand. It felt a little shady... Overall experience was ok... 4 starts borderline 3 stars. It would have been 4 borderline 5 if they had taken care of the key... but as it states now it's quite close to flipping to a ""3" review *I'm adding on to this... The owner and someone from the customer service team got in touch with me after I wrote the initial review and told me they would be happy to provide me with a key. They mailed it to me just a couple days later. When I get it they have it set-up so I can go to the local Acura back here in Cincinnati and get it programmed. That was a very pleasant surprise and a great follow-up from the owner and customer team. Thank you! More

A/C service A/C wasn't cooling, I quickly got an appointment. I was setup with a courtesy car for the day. My A/C problem was covered under the warranty. Had purchased accessories installed after recent purchase Jami was very nice and helpful. Had roof rails and mud flaps installed. Were purchased with new RDX but had to be ordered. Left car at service center and was given a loaner. Installation of accessories was very good. however, car was dirty inside from work done. had to vacuum interior when I got home. Also car had not been washed...thought this was part of normal service visits...may be wrong here. No big deal, I'm sure future appointments will be fine. More

Odd Issue, Resolved Professionally, for the most part I had, what sounded like, a bolt rolling around in my passenger's side front door for 2 years. I finally decided to mention it at my oil change appoi I had, what sounded like, a bolt rolling around in my passenger's side front door for 2 years. I finally decided to mention it at my oil change appointment along with an issue with my key fob dying shortly after changing the battery. When I was checked in the guy suggested buying a battery from Acura for the key fob issue because they are "supposed" to be better than something you'd buy at Walmart. Said it should last about 3 years or so. Only cost me $6 to try out that theory so I was pleased. My car was at Acura for 3 hours before they let me know my car was ready. (oil change + 1hour service appointment for the bolt-sound issue. I wasn't very happy with the response I got regarding the sound bolt-sound issue. What I was told was that they did not hear anything and that I had items in my door pocket (generally where most people put the trash in their car). I would not have been upset had they just said "we don't hear anything so we can't look into it" but instead I was being told basically that I'm dumb enough to think that if I don't take the things out of my car door- that they won't roll around and make noise. I mean, COME ON! After asking about it before checking out, Todd got a little defensive with me and didn't want to hear my concern. He immediately pointed me to Jami. I was told by Jami that I could go out with a maintenance person to see if he could hear anything. Of course we went out and I didn't hear the sound but he did say that if I heard it to certainly bring it back in. I wish I remembered his name because he was very reassuring that I wasn't being a pain! By the next Monday the sound was back. So I reached out to Jami and she made an appointment for me within the next couple of days to bring it back in. She offered that if they didn't hear it initially, that they would keep the vehicle until they heard it and were able to solve the issue. I was given a courtesy vehicle as well which was convenient. They did end up finding out that there was a piece of candy - I know, really? - rolling around underneath my carpet. So a piece of candy had been driving me crazy for 2 years. I was VERY dissatisfied with the initial result. The response I got made me feel like they were just too busy to look into it further. But Jami was VERY quick to rectify the situation and made me feel like I wasn't being a bother. She did a good job to "make it right" and keep me as a returning customer! More
