Aaron Ford of Lake Elsinore

was visiting from Colorado over the Memorial Day weekend and stopped into Lake Elsinore Ford. I found a truck that I like and ask them since I lived in Colorado would I have to pay California sales tax or and stopped into Lake Elsinore Ford. I found a truck that I like and ask them since I lived in Colorado would I have to pay California sales tax or Colorado sales tax. They said I would have to pay Califonia sales tax. I then said thank you and I would just wait til I got home and find a truck there. They then instructed me that they had a solution that they would give me a one way pass to avoid Registering the truck in Colorado and when I got to Colorado and registered there, I would then pay Colorado sales tax and they would refund me the difference which is about $2500 on the truck. I did not think that was how it was done but they said yes, that would work and I bought the truck. I then waited a few weeks for them to mail me the (MCO) Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin so that I could take the car to Colorado DMV to get it registered. I finally got it and went to register it and Colorado DMV said they had no idea what I was talking about. I then called Lake Elsinore Ford back up and asked them. The Salesman and Sales Manager I talked to were not available and they said "We never said that" and that they would have never said that. So lesson learned, I should have got something in writing. They just wanted to make the sell. I would have continued to walk out like I was until they pulled me back in and convinced me. I do like my new 2022 F-150 Planinum. I just paid $2500 extra on the Sales Tax and got burned by Lake Elsinore Ford. And to this day, the Salesman and Sales Manager that I dealt with have not been found because I know there is no way they can lie directly to my face after they 100% said it would work. Shame on Lake Elsinore Ford for just trying to get a sale out the door More

The worst service center I have ever been too. They failed to fix a problem when I had my truck in for maintenance. No one even talked to be about the service that they did do. I called several times to ask if they tried to fix it but no one ever called me back. When I scheduled an appointment to have the problem fixed, they had my truck all day and can couldn't fix it since the part they had was broken. This is the second time I have tried their service center and been very disappointed. More

Ron was our salesperson throughout the process. We had to custom order our family vehicle through the website. He promptly called when one of the ETAs given was about to expire and a delay was about to come about. It was a long 6 months due to the shortages, but Ron was able to keep our price the same and eventually get the car to us. Once it was on the lot, we were able to pick it up the same day. Ron is down to earth and a great person to talk to during the paperwork sections. Respectful and professional. Looking forward to doing business with Lake Elsinore Ford in the future, specifically with Ron. More

I just couldn’t help myself in leaving a review. I stopped in a little while back on accident. Walked in and a sales rep was leaning against the receptionist desk and I asked where the Ram dealer was stopped in a little while back on accident.
