Dear Mr. Capitillo, Thank you for responding to the review my husband posted. We purchased the vehicle we wanted from Toyota of Greenville. They had the precise car we were looking for with low miles at a competitive price, and were very professional. Well worth the drive to Greenville from Habersham County. I believe our problem with your dealership was two-fold: First, that our credit was run for a car no longer in your inventory, although my husband included the stock number on the application. Second; When I called and was told that the car had sold a few days before, I expressed my displeasure in having my credit run on a car you didn't have... at which point the person I was speaking to at your dealership attempted to backtrack and tell me that you DID have the car when you ran my credit, which was not true. Then he proceeded to attempt to sell me a Lexus, and said that since you already ran my credit I should look on your website for a car I might want (the care you sold was still listed). A sincere apology would have been a more appropriate response. I'm glad to hear that you have taken steps to prevent this from happening in the future. Honesty is always the best policy in business.
